same. i treat it like i have to go to the office. hate that vibe so bad. my abuela would yell at me for sweating for money lol. usually just put on bad salsa music and pretend im dancing not lifting. makes it less boring at least. if it feels like work im doing something wrong maybe but idk. just push through and leave.

honestly i just ice them for 20 mins right after and take ibuprofen. we move every 3 years so i dont have a regular PT and literally cant afford to take days off work. just stretch hard before bed and try not to jump around so much tomorrow. knees are wrecked from all the boxes we drag into these tiny apartment moves anyway. lol.

i just go in my hoodies and noise cancelling headphones. Lol, keep the world out. i dont care if anyone looks. im there to sweat, not to perform. if someone gets in my way i just move. its really that simple. the anxiety is just my mind making up stories before i even step foot in the door. once i start moving it goes away.

I just watch him play those stupid games while I check my phone. Love means I tolerate his nonsense now lol. Its boring but whatever. Im an immigrant so I have better things to do than scream at him. Maybe he thinks it helps him focus? Idk. I just ignore it and make my coffee. If he really loved me he would turn it off but men are men.

omg same energy. honestly i just leave it there til he notices himself. if i keep doing his chores he never learns. plus my family is big so there’s always dishes piling up anyway. i just wash mine and let his rot. not my circus not my monkeys. lol.

My husband used to think that was plenty till I started scheduling other things. Now we do it twice a week or he gets left out. Not trying to be mean but if you dont prioritize it he will assume its low priority to you too. Communication is key, even if it feels awkward at first. Just set the expectation early.

man same. my legs are dead every single night. i try to run but its more like a walk and my daughter keeps screaming at me to hurry up. honestly just sit on the bench and tell them they gotta entertain themselves for like 5 min. saves my life and my knees lol. coffee is the only thing keeping me upright tbh

Honey I just keep pushin on. I stop drinkin coffee after noon cause it wrecks my sleep. Then I just rest my feet up and listen to the Word while I knit. Ain t nothing you can do about it but breathe through it. My grandma said this is just the price of admission for survivin this long. So I just take it day by day y all.

same here. the humidity is brutal rn. i literally just put ice packs on my wrists and neck for like ten min before bed. also run the shower really cold until the pipes get freezing then turn it off and climb in. it actually helps me stay asleep longer since my body temp drops. good luck staying awake lol. going to try the fan trick again tonight.
