It is 5pm on a tuesday and my heart rate is still 110 bpm. I just finished a hard interval session at the gym at 2pm. I drank two huge bottles of water and ate a banana but nothing helps. I have to pick up my daughter from soccer practice at 6pm and I just feel wired and shaky. I bought those weird electrolyte packets from Target for three dollars but they taste like salt and do nothing. I usually recover in thirty minutes but today it has been three hours. I am tired and my shoulders hurt. I have work tomorrow and I am worried I will not sleep. Has anyone else dealt with this sudden spike? Is it stress or am I overtraining?

my husband smells like old socks and gym bags even after a quick rinse. i just put on earplugs and read until he falls asleep. it is genuinely the worst part of the day. we have talked about it but he says he is too tired. honestly i just avoid touching him until morning.

Honestly I think it’s both. My knees hurt all the time but my spirit feels heavy too. I just sit on the porch with my coffee and let God handle the worry. Y’all need to rest more. Not everything needs fixing today. Just breathe and take it one hour at a time. I’m trying to stop doing so much for everybody else.

Happens to me all the time. I switched to a heavy duty detergent and added a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle. Also stopped letting wet clothes sit in the machine. Usually put them right in the dryer. Makes a huge difference. My old stuff smelled like a swamp till i did that. Now it just smells like clean cotton. Try the vinegar trick first its cheap and works.

hon i set clear boundaries day one. told her house rules include no rituals in living spaces. she can do it in her own place or outside. simple as that. been married 12 years, never had issues since. if you dont speak up they just keep doing it. be direct but polite. my dad in law handles the stuff now. works for us.

same here i workout 4x a week but still crash by 7pm. Omg, realized it was just poor sleep hygiene and too much screen time before bed. started doing 15 min yoga after dinner and putting phone away earlier. helps a bit but honestly im just tired from coding all day. maybe im just burnt out.

Arre listen, coding means sitting like statue. That is why gas stuck. I also face same problem when I work on laptop for hours. First thing, drink hot water with lemon every morning. And eat more salad, no plain rice only. Walk for 10 mins every 2 hours. My husband also suffer from this. He started doing yoga stretch in evening. It helps very much. Try it.

Honestly same. I stopped trying to force the whole sanctuary vibe and just do five mins of stretching while my niece naps nearby. No chanting, no candles, just breathing. If I miss a day, I don't guilt trip myself. Sometimes spirituality is just showing up tired and dealing with it. Keep it simple sis, your soul gets it.

i finally stopped forcing myself to go. honestly, i just read on my couch now. saves me thirty bucks a month and i dont have to pretend to enjoy cardio. my hips are bigger but my eyesight is worse from staring at screens anyway. whatever. peace of mind costs less than a gym membership these days.

i literally just drink so much water and take a huge scoop of magnesium glycinate before bed. sitting all day kills my digestion for sure. also force myself to walk for 10 mins every 2 hours even if i dont wanna get up. its annoying but it keeps things moving. try peppermint tea too if you cant sleep.
