Quote from Bright1975 on May 13, 2025, 8:10 pmi drink a cup of nettle tea before bed and keep my room pitch black. also stop scrolling right before sleep, the blue light messes with your rest. i noticed once i stopped eating heavy meals late at night, i wake up way more refreshed. try drinking a big glass of water first thing in the morning too, dehydration hides as fatigue sometimes.

Quote from sageloom on January 24, 2026, 2:15 amI honestly just walk on the treadmill and read audiobooks. If I try to lift weights with the bros I look like an idiot anyway so I just dodge them. Also the laundry situation is a nightmare so I bring extra clothes. I hate the smell of the place but at least I can zone out and not talk to anyone which is probably why I do it.

Quote from Helen1977 on January 24, 2026, 2:15 amhonestly i stopped asking him to help. i just do what needs doing while he hangs out. if he complains about the mess i tell him to fix it himself or shut up. at this point his energy is not worth the fight. i save my mental peace for myself and my kids. let him live in the chaos he ignores. peace is more important than being right.

Quote from Sweetharp on October 4, 2025, 7:05 pmhoney don’t even panic. just call your local gym equipment repair shop. we use frank’s down on highway 9 and he’s honest as the day is long. if that thing is under warranty call the manufacturer first though. otherwise frank will probably come out tomorrow. bless his heart he charges fair rates. hope y’all get it fixed quick.

Quote from stargoodbye on August 28, 2025, 5:54 amI just throw a load of laundry in and call it a day. My husband complains but he never helps so I just ignore him. I’m black and white but mostly exhausted from moving every two years. Chicago winters are brutal enough without stressing over dust bunnies. I eat cereal on the counter while boxes sit in the living room. If he wants it perfect he can clean it himself. I’m too tired to care rn.

Quote from Rachel1974 on October 26, 2025, 9:02 amYeah it’s super isolating. I just go in with huge noise cancelling headphones and try to invisibly blend into the background. My routine is strictly chest and back so i don’t have to interact with anyone. If someone accidentally bumps into my rack i just grunt and move away. id rather be home reading anyway lol. gym socializing feels forced and unnecessary. just power through and leave.

Quote from Hopechore on June 14, 2026, 11:59 pmman i feel this so hard. my partner is the same way. its exhausting. i literally start withdrawing if its just about finishing. i tell him straight up that if he wants cuddling just ask for it separately. its not my job to assume hes cuddly after. i need connection not just release. its so tiring to have to manage his emotions around intimacy too.

Quote from Lucky1995 on July 25, 2026, 7:33 pmMy grandmomma always said yawning isnt just tiredness. Sometimes its your spirit trying to breathe or stretch when your mind is stuck. I do a quick breath prayer when this happens. Just three deep breaths in through the nose out through the mouth. Helps me ground back to earth. If sleep isnt fixing it maybe it isnt about the body. Check in with whats heavy on your heart today.
