Gratitude practice daily?
Quote from Rosemedal on June 4, 2024, 5:13 ami drink a massive cup of coffee with breakfast and set a timer for my lunch break. if i skip lunch or eat too heavy i crash hard. i also step outside for 5 mins of fresh air right after eating. helps reset my brain. my kids run me ragged in the morning so this little pause actually matters. dont push through hunger or you will regret it later.

Quote from Bakerbee2000 on December 12, 2024, 1:09 amhonestly i just ignore the suck. ive been lifting alone for two years now since the divorce. some days i barely survive the set but i show up anyway. my knees hurt and i feel like a grandma but seeing the weight go up keeps me sane. its not about being strong its about doing it when you dont want to. thats the only win that matters right now.

Quote from Clothpasture on February 29, 2024, 6:22 pmyeah it is normal. Ngl, i did the same trail last weekend and my quads were screaming for two days after. just walk around lightly to keep things moving. ice helps if it gets really sore. dont let it stop you, next time youll be stronger. i drank like three electrolyte drinks right after and slept the whole night. pain is part of the process lol.

Quote from pinkrosebud1977 on July 12, 2024, 5:54 pmfr bro is he alive lol i usually say let me grab my purse first cuz that’s my polite way of saying no without being rude. also check if he’s just rushing to get home. my ex did that. u know the drill. keep it casual and see if he walks u to ur car or just stands there staring. red flag if hes clocking the whole date like its a pit stop.

Quote from Amberflower on August 8, 2024, 9:26 amHonestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from peatlagoon on October 20, 2024, 3:41 amsame here honestly. i’m dead tired after work and all he wants is sex then pass out. i refuse tho. i make him hold me for at least 10 mins before or after or nothing happens. he complains but eventually gets it. if you don’t set the boundary he’ll keep taking what he wants. protect ur peace first.

Quote from Wisehillside1999 on November 7, 2024, 11:37 amomg why would he do that?? like seriously?? i would literally kick him out of the bed lol. here we do lo mismo, shower mandatory after work or gym. otherwise im not sharing my sheets with sweaty random man. seriously consider sleeping in the couch until he learns basic hygiene. no thanks to the funk.

Quote from Kathleen1985 on May 28, 2024, 3:52 pmSame situation here man. My husband acts like the kids are not his. I am exhausted holding everything down while he just sits there. My mom and sisters literally had to step in to help with the little ones otherwise I would have collapsed. It drives me crazy that I have to do everything. Just venting cause I have no energy left for this nonsense. Need a break badly.

Quote from SunnyGlow on December 15, 2024, 1:00 amI do the same thing lol. Omg, Hot water is sacred healing after dealing with kids and work all day. If he needs that reset time to just be quiet and clean, let him have it. I usually go in after him so the bathroom stays warm. Just enjoy your own peace while he’s in there. It’s not about control, it’s about survival.
