Grandma's spirit animal showed up on my porch... and left a feather.
Quote from featheradieu on September 18, 2024, 8:05 amgirl if he cheated dont even look at him twice. honest he wants attention not love. i wouldnt even reply to him. like really? you broke my trust and now you want skin contact? gross. just block him and go get a fresh manicure. we dont settle for that nonsense. be serious with yourself. he can take his ego with him. no contact is the only move here trust me.

Quote from Silverpollen on February 4, 2024, 7:03 amLord have mercy. We have been there too many times to count. I usually just call my mom at 5am if the fever spikes and she comes over. If she cant make it i call in sick. Boss knows better than to make me choose. Hey we all raise these little ones somehow. Praying it breaks by morning. Yall hang in there.

Quote from ruth1971 on August 7, 2024, 1:29 pmGirl same. My doc said early perimenopause and i felt like dying. The hot flashes are wild and the brain fog is real. I just started taking vitamin d and magnesium plus trying to sleep more. It helps a little but its still rough. Yount alone tho. Just take it one day at a time.

Quote from Susan1997 on June 5, 2024, 4:57 pmsame here honestly. i keep blaming it on getting older but my pms has been straight up weird lately. bloated as hell and tired af even after sleeping. i finally went to the doc and got my thyroid checked too. turns out my levels were kinda off. might wanna just get checked out tho bc hormones can be wild at this age. dont just assume its aging.

Quote from Glencotton on September 15, 2024, 12:35 ami spent two hours at the elementary school today and honestly i just want to crawl into bed. the teachers were nice but they asked so many questions about his reading level. i feel like im failing already. drank three glasses of wine as soon as i got home. now watching tv and ignoring my work emails. same for you basically i think.

Quote from FernPeak on September 15, 2024, 12:35 amI feel this. Last year I hit a wall too. I’m a teacher so I spend all day pouring into others and come home with nothing left. I realized it wasnt laziness, it was just burnout. Now I force myself to rest without guilt. Honestly just taking a nap or doing absolutely nothing for an hour changed everything. Youre not lazy, youre just drained. Be kind to yourself.

Quote from moonbeamstar1996 on June 13, 2024, 1:13 ami used to pay for one of those apps but stopped after a year. honestly the ads were more stressful than the calm sounds. now i just sit in my garden or listen to birds from the porch. doesnt cost a dime and feels just as peaceful. maybe we just need quiet time without the fancy tech telling us how to breathe.

Quote from ReefDesert on September 30, 2024, 6:12 pmYeah it’s the divorce fatigue. I’m 46 and honestly just wrecked. Spent all day sorting through mail and thinking about alimony payments instead of actually living. My knees hurt from walking the dog and my brain feels foggy all day. Just drank iced coffee but still feel heavy. Not sure if it’s grief or just old age kicking in early.
