nah it is totally possible i just turn 38 last week and my energy levels are actually higher than they were in my twenties. i stopped eating processed sugar and started lifting heavy weights 4 days a week. also sleep matters so much more now. if u are sleeping 6 hours and drinking lattes all day yeah ur gonna feel dead. change the routine and the energy comes back simple as that

Honestly I think it’s both. Lol, My knees hurt all the time but my spirit feels heavy too. I just sit on the porch with my coffee and let God handle the worry. Y’all need to rest more. Not everything needs fixing today. Just breathe and take it one hour at a time. I’m trying to stop doing so much for everybody else.

hon i set clear boundaries day one. told her house rules include no rituals in living spaces. she can do it in her own place or outside. simple as that. been married 12 years, never had issues since. if you dont speak up they just keep doing it. be direct but polite. my dad in law handles the stuff now. works for us.

Honestly same. Honestly, I stopped trying to force the whole sanctuary vibe and just do five mins of stretching while my niece naps nearby. No chanting, no candles, just breathing. If I miss a day, I don't guilt trip myself. Sometimes spirituality is just showing up tired and dealing with it. Keep it simple sis, your soul gets it.

honestly same vibe. my man keeps pushing stuff i just do not have energy for anymore. i told him straight up that i am tapped out. sometimes you just gotta say no to the new thing and protect your peace. i spent last weekend just sitting by the river refreshing myself. if you do not want it, do not do it. boundaries save marriages. he needs to accept where you are at right now.

Mija same. I swear the gym smells like sweat and regret. I just walk at my local park while listening to bad reggaeton. No equipment needed just me moving my body. Sometimes I go back and forth at home too. If I miss a day I dont overthink it. Life is messy. Consistency is boring anyway. Just do what feels good that day. Ay ay ay.

yeah it happens. i used to get awful knee pain after leg day too. usually means you pushed too hard too fast. i started doing more warm up squats before lifting and stretching right after. also make sure your form is right. if it keeps hurting take a break. dont ignore it. my knees are fine now as long as i listen to them. hope u feel better soon.

same here. the humidity is brutal rn. i literally just put ice packs on my wrists and neck for like ten min before bed. also run the shower really cold until the pipes get freezing then turn it off and climb in. it actually helps me stay asleep longer since my body temp drops. good luck staying awake lol. going to try the fan trick again tonight.

Same here. My husband also takes forever. I just put on noise cancelling headphones and listen to music. Or I do my own skincare routine downstairs. No point waiting. Let him take his time. I make chai for myself and relax. It is better than sitting there angry. You learn to manage it. Just ignore the shower sound and focus on yourself. Works for me most days.

uff girl me too my husband installed a baby gate in the living room but they still find ways to sneak in. now i just keep my dumbbells in the bedroom closet and do squats there. if they touch my yoga mat im done yelling so loud my neighbors probably hear it. honestly its so exhausting trying to maintain peace while working out. maybe i should just join a gym outside home.
