Quote from Birchford on April 8, 2025, 12:38 pmsame here i workout 4x a week but still crash by 7pm. realized it was just poor sleep hygiene and too much screen time before bed. started doing 15 min yoga after dinner and putting phone away earlier. helps a bit but honestly im just tired from coding all day. maybe im just burnt out.

Quote from Farmhouse1999 on July 18, 2026, 1:46 pmhey sis i feel this. my body shuts down then too. usually means im dehydrated or skipped lunch. i eat a heavy meal with protein and fat around one so the crash doesnt hit. also drink water all day not just coffee. if its not food check sleep. im grounded in my routine helps. get some rest.

Quote from Bravestepping on February 1, 2025, 7:34 pmnah that sounds like he’s just trying to get away with being rude. i just tell my partner straight up that his tone is disrespectful and i won’t tolerate it. if he gets defensive then i know he’s not listening. i walk away until he can speak to me with basic respect. you’re not too sensitive for wanting to be treated right.

Quote from kimberly1986 on February 27, 2026, 5:50 pmi do the same thing. spent months hating him for taking over all the chores and now i miss having company at dinner. its weird but true. the silence in my empty house is louder than our arguments ever were. just started cooking for two again out of habit then catching myself lol.

Quote from bluestone on July 27, 2025, 9:19 amHonestly just tell him to stop. Lol, Ive been with my husband for eight years and we move constantly so i dont have time for drama. If he cant leave his ex in the past then hes not ready. I wouldnt even listen anymore if he brought it up twice. Just shut it down firmly. You deserve better than that baggage.

Quote from Fieldshaft on November 14, 2025, 12:04 pmI give up on keeping it pristine. Bought heavy plastic bins for all the weights and shoved them under the desk. Now it looks like a storage closet but at least i can actually find things. My divorce was two years ago so i learned to let perfection go pretty quick. Just do what works for you, everyone else is too busy caring about their own mess.

Quote from Kindlywish on January 31, 2025, 6:06 amSame here. My husband also takes forever. I just put on noise cancelling headphones and listen to music. Or I do my own skincare routine downstairs. No point waiting. Let him take his time. I make chai for myself and relax. It is better than sitting there angry. You learn to manage it. Just ignore the shower sound and focus on yourself. Works for me most days.

Quote from StormWool on June 22, 2025, 2:58 pmHonestly not weird at all. We moved three times in two years so our bedroom setups have been half packed in boxes for months. Husband thinks I’m rejecting him, but I’m just exhausted. Most intimacy now is him falling asleep on the couch while I fold laundry. If I’m lucky we try for 10 minutes but usually it’s a nope from me. Just survive, don’t expect much until the kids actually leave the house.
