i just blocked him and deleted the app. honestly it felt like a relief. i spent three years trying to fix things that werent broken on my end and now im just focusing on myself. no more late night scrolling or wondering if he’s talking to someone else. peace of mind is worth more than any potential match.

My husband used to think that was plenty till I started scheduling other things. Now we do it twice a week or he gets left out. Not trying to be mean but if you dont prioritize it he will assume its low priority to you too. Communication is key, even if it feels awkward at first. Just set the expectation early.

damn girl same. my knees are wrecked from all that singing and jumping last sunday. honestly im just laying down with ice on them rn. tried doing some stretches but even that hurts. think i just gonna order some chicken tenders and re watch a movie instead of moving. hope you feelin better soon sister

Yeah honey I been there. Omg, My knees dont stop hurting and I catch myself staring at the neighbors house wondering who is inside. So I started walking the track at my church twice a day. Just walking yall. No talking. It helps clear my head. Also tried those little pickle snacks at the drugstore weirdly they hit the spot. Be kind to yourself mama.

Honesty im in that exact spot rn. He says he loves me but flakes on plans and never initiates. Theres only so long i had for it. The silence is loud. You deserve peace not mixed signals.

mija he is straight up giving you the cold shoulder and trying to gaslight u. when my ex got distant i stopped chasing. u r not overthinking u r reacting to his lack of effort. keep living ur life. if he wants to be close he will step up. dont waste ur energy on someone who stays away. stay strong.

yeah it is real. Lol, i always pack a couple hard boiled eggs and a banana in my gym bag right now. keeps the crazy cravings at bay until i get home. trying to wait 30 mins before eating but sometimes you just gotta eat. drinking a big glass of water first helps too. good luck

I get it. My husband was pushing hard too. I stopped overthinking the performance part and just told him we need low pressure. We switched to just touching without expecting penetration. Took the edge off for both of us. Now we actually want to be closer. Don’t force it if your body says no. Communication works better than ghosting through it. Just be honest.

honestly i just ice them for 20 mins right after and take ibuprofen. we move every 3 years so i dont have a regular PT and literally cant afford to take days off work. just stretch hard before bed and try not to jump around so much tomorrow. knees are wrecked from all the boxes we drag into these tiny apartment moves anyway. lol.

dont miss it. i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.
