honestly same. ive stopped trying to meditate every morning and guilt myself for missing days. now i just do what feels doable. sometimes its five minutes of breathing, other times its napping. im done performing spirituality. i teach second grade so i deal with chaos all day, im not adding mental load. just be kind to yourself.

Honestly I think it’s both. My knees hurt all the time but my spirit feels heavy too. I just sit on the porch with my coffee and let God handle the worry. Y’all need to rest more. Not everything needs fixing today. Just breathe and take it one hour at a time. I’m trying to stop doing so much for everybody else.

I do the same thing lol. Hot water is sacred healing after dealing with kids and work all day. If he needs that reset time to just be quiet and clean, let him have it. I usually go in after him so the bathroom stays warm. Just enjoy your own peace while he’s in there. It’s not about control, it’s about survival.

I literally just slide the dishes into the dishwasher over his shoulder while he’s still in the shower. I swear, He knows if he leaves them for more than ten minutes they disappear, so he cleans them as he goes now. I tried talking about it for a year and nothing changed until I just handled it myself and stopped asking since then it’s been smooth sailing. Hope that helps keep some sanity.

Don’t push too hard. My knees also hurt after squatting. I use warm towels for 10 mins before bed. Also ice pack if swelling. Drink lots of water. Sometimes just resting is better than stretching immediately. Be careful beta, body needs time to recover. Don’t ignore pain.

I don’t play that game. If he leaves it, I let it rot. Seriously. I won’t pick up after an grown man acting like a child. I just move my cleaning supplies away from the sink and let him deal with the mess himself. He figures it out quick when he has no clean pans for coffee. Boundaries keep me sane.

bhaiyaa this is normal. Honestly, lifting kids is heavy work. i use this yoga strap around my waist when carrying them, helps support back. after that i lie down with hot water bag on lower back for 15 mins. also dont lift from knees, bend properly. my doctor said it is because of weak core, so i started simple exercises. rest is important. take care beta.

im 68 and honestly dont care if it is boring as long as it works. i just put on my podcasts and march in place for 30 mins. keeps the heart happy. its not glamorous but i dont get bored because im listening to stories instead. focus on the audio not the movement. thats my secret.

yesss i am literally dead after day five. im mixed so i always feel like im code switching all day at uic which drains my battery fast. then i come home and just stare at the wall for two hours before i can even think about cooking. its not the work load its just the mental load of existing in spaces that werent built for us. wanna sleep through saturday

I don’t deal with that nonsense. If my husband speaks to me with disrespect, I shut it down right then. I tell him I’m not accepting that tone and I’m walking away until he can speak properly. You aren’t too sensitive, you just have standards. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking his bad behavior is your problem. Walk away if he won’t change.
