Quote from Doris1981 on March 24, 2024, 6:26 amyeah my tribe does smudging before class now. Tbh, i just do 15 mins of sun salutations in my living room while listening to rain sounds. saves the drive and the frustration. honestly its just easier to move on your own time without dealing with cancellation emails. hope you find a rhythm that works for u too.

Quote from Softpact on June 18, 2024, 11:08 pmhonestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.

Quote from Boldriver1980 on April 24, 2024, 11:48 pmMine hurt too after leg day. I just ice them and wrap them tight. Rest is key. Dont push through the pain or youll make it worse. Drink lots of water and stretch gently. If it still hurts after a few days see a doc. My grandma always said listen to your body, it knows when its tired. Take it easy for a bit.

Quote from Kimberly1967 on January 7, 2024, 1:52 amHoney i think you just got too much on your feet all at once. My back kills me after even ten minutes on the sidewalk now. I stretch like crazy when i get home and then just lie down with a heating pad on my lower back. Make sure your dog isn pulling you off balance too. Rest up.

Quote from moss再见 on May 11, 2024, 11:04 pmyeah it is definitely just you lol. Tbh, my body goes crazy after heavy lifts. i usually have a handful of sunflower seeds and a banana right when i finish. keeps me from feeling like i might pass out but doesnt make me too full. sometimes if its really bad i sip on bone broth while i cool down. helps with the cravings without wrecking my appetite for dinner later.

Quote from Margaret1998 on March 27, 2024, 6:37 amhonestly i stopped keeping score years ago. now i just buy myself flowers and go get lunch with my best friend. we laugh about it over coffee. he gets the silent treatment until he remembers next time. dont waste your energy crying over it. treat yourself instead. my husband forgot our 30th too. i just changed the subject and ordered pizza. life goes on.

Quote from Simplelife1997 on March 31, 2025, 2:41 amI do the same thing lol. Hot water is sacred healing after dealing with kids and work all day. If he needs that reset time to just be quiet and clean, let him have it. I usually go in after him so the bathroom stays warm. Just enjoy your own peace while he’s in there. It’s not about control, it’s about survival.

Quote from Jane2003 on March 31, 2025, 2:41 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?
