Quote from Judith1995 on January 7, 2024, 1:22 ami literally just drink so much water and take a huge scoop of magnesium glycinate before bed. sitting all day kills my digestion for sure. also force myself to walk for 10 mins every 2 hours even if i dont wanna get up. its annoying but it keeps things moving. try peppermint tea too if you cant sleep.

Quote from Tina1971 on August 31, 2024, 11:43 amMira, same here. The gym is a scam for me. I hate the smell, the mirrors, whatever. I just walk. Like, I put on my shoes and walk for 30 minutes while listening to podcasts. No sweating, no judgment. My neighbors think I’m crazy but at least I’m moving, si? Consistency? Please. I do what I can when I can. Some days it’s trash, others I walk more. It’s not perfect but it works for me.

Quote from Brassforest on May 6, 2024, 6:37 pmI pulled the plug on that nonsense years ago. Tbh, If he says i am too sensitive while tossing out garbage, he gets told to take a hike. No explaining, no crying, just leaving the room. My peace is worth more than his ego. I dont waste breath arguing with someone who refuses to see reality. Y’all deserve better than walking on eggshells.

Quote from Cloudnine1978 on October 25, 2024, 7:27 pmMine too. Sitting back to back meetings kharab kar diya knee. Doctor bola office chair support nahi hota mai. Main ab lunch break mein thoda walk karta hoon kitchen tak. Cold pack bhi rakhta hoon raat ko. Par sach kahu toh bas time ke saath sahi hoga shayad. Tu bhi rest le, zyada stress mat le.

Quote from rootlabor on March 27, 2024, 12:37 pmbhaiyaa this is normal. lifting kids is heavy work. i use this yoga strap around my waist when carrying them, helps support back. after that i lie down with hot water bag on lower back for 15 mins. also dont lift from knees, bend properly. my doctor said it is because of weak core, so i started simple exercises. rest is important. take care beta.

Quote from Nora1973 on September 4, 2024, 10:46 pmdude same. i lift weights twice a week and still feel like i got hit by a commuter train. half the time i just scroll tiktok on the bench press. im mixed too so idk if its just my genes or chicago weather wrecking my circadian rhythm. honestly i just drink a rocket fuel before bed and hope for the best. why is recovery so hard??

Quote from shoredusk on June 20, 2024, 1:31 amhaha same energy. my hips are basically jelly right now after that hot yoga sesh. i just lie on the couch in a fetal position and scroll reddit until the ache goes away. zero zen achieved today. just pure regret and ibuprofen. honestly if anyone tries to talk mindfulness to me rn im gonna scream. send snacks not solutions.

Quote from ashley1986 on June 13, 2024, 1:13 amusually its just dehydration and low blood sugar hitting at once. i drink a big glass of water immediately after and eat something with carbs and protein within 30 mins. if i skip the postrun snack i feel terrible too. also make sure you actually cool down with a walk instead of just stopping dead. helps the cortisol drop

Quote from duskweir on February 19, 2024, 4:42 amive moved every 18 months for work and yeah it kills the vibe. hard to build intimacy when you are busy unpacking boxes or sleeping on an air mattress. my partner and i just stopped trying to plan dates during the first year in a new city. we just ordered takeout and watched movies until things settled down. now we wait until lease renews to start dating again
