Quote from weberrand on July 27, 2024, 10:22 amim right with u. my truck is basically a mobile daycare. kids in the back with snacks and tablets, dog in the front seat. i just blast country music and drive because honestly if i stop talking theyll start fighting. keep it simple though. do for me what i can do alone. coffee in hand, window down, dont let 'em distract u.

Quote from echoexhibit on September 30, 2024, 6:12 pmI stopped trying to manifest money long ago. Now I just grind. I budget tight, pick up extra shifts, and invest what I can. If I want a new car I save for it or work a second job. Manifesting felt like waiting for a check that never arrives. Real talk its about action not just vibes. I focus on what I can control today.

Quote from Brookiron on October 8, 2024, 5:43 pmHonestly yeah i cancelled headspace last year. saved the money and just sit on my balcony with my phone in another room. 10 mins of staring at the void works just as well. apps are just a business model targeting anxious professionals. plus the constant notifications reminding you to meditate is ironic at best. keep it simple.

Quote from Simplelife1987 on December 2, 2024, 1:50 amI just stopped fighting it. Bought the basic cerave cleanser and nothing else. Used to buy fancy stuff hoping it would fix everything. Now I just wash, moisturize, and let it be. My skin actually cleared up when I stopped stressing over it. Sometimes doing less is the only move left when you are exhausted.

Quote from Tideshift on September 25, 2024, 3:30 pmFibro is real dont let anyone tell u otherwise. I got diagnosed three years ago. Woke up one morning and couldnt get out of bed. Docs acted like it was all in my head at first too. Now i just manage the flares. Take ur meds, rest when u need to, and stop blaming urself. Age has nothing to do with it. Its a nerve thing. Stay strong sister.

Quote from amy1986 on September 25, 2024, 3:30 pmNot weird at all. Omg, I miss making his coffee and folding his shirts way more than I miss the actual relationship. The drama was exhausting. The routine was peaceful. I still wake up reaching for the iron sometimes. It’s just quieter now. I’m learning to be okay with my own company instead of filling the space with someone else’s nonsense. It takes time but the calm is worth it.

Quote from woodscore on August 17, 2024, 1:40 pmmy husband used to think sex was a daily maintenance task. we compromised on wednesdays and sundays. honestly the rest of the week I just wanted horizontal time. if he cant get off to schedule tell him the bedroom is closed for renovation until further notice. sleep is non negotiable for me now.

Quote from Bold2000 on August 13, 2025, 5:48 amyeah it is. i limit how many things i say yes to now. last week i just told a parent i cant help with their child after hours. felt so weird saying no but did it anyway. im done carrying everyone else emotional baggage while grading papers. just doing the bare minimum for anyone who isnt my immediate family these days.

Quote from True1990 on June 14, 2025, 8:53 amman i feel u. honestly i just stopped trying to carry everyone. i go to the gym to sweat and clear my head not to fix peoples problems. if they want to come thats cool but im not waiting or pushing anymore. kinda selfish maybe but i needed the space for myself first. my energy is for me right now.
