Quote from Rainbowchild1975 on January 4, 2025, 10:17 pmHonestly i just stopped apologizing for it. My auntie sat me down and said my body is mine not his obligation. Now i just say no clearly without over explaining. If they get mad that’s on them. Also make sure you’re not just burnt out from kitchen duty all week. Rest is valid. Keep your boundaries firm sis.

Quote from seahoar on April 8, 2026, 2:36 amYeah honestly. I swear, Hubby snores so loud i just give up after a while. We make out sometimes but that is about it. I think at our age it just is not the main event anymore. We hold hands and watch tv which is nice enough. Dont stress about it. My body just aches too much for anything wild.

Quote from bold1982 on February 25, 2025, 9:08 amnope not worth the extreme soreness but totally worth the strength gains. i lift four times a week mostly compound movements. yes it hurts for a day or two after back day but you get so strong so fast. the mirror dont lie when you see those shoulders pop out. just push through the initial discomfort. its temporary but the results stay. keep lifting sisters.

Quote from cloudspore on March 4, 2025, 3:06 amdont miss it. Lol, i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.

Quote from Archfarewell on October 23, 2025, 6:12 amOmg I feel you. Honest truth, it’s not the fabric, it’s your dryer. I stopped putting that basket in the dryer long ago. That lint trap holds onto moisture and bacteria like crazy. Now I just leave mine out to air dry or throw in a tennis ball to circulate air. Also make sure you’re using enough detergent, gym clothes get super sweaty. Mira si te ayuda.

Quote from Evelyn1984 on October 23, 2025, 6:12 amHoney I feel you. I get it too. As soon as I think I am cured, boom, back to bed. I just keep a stash of chicken soup mix and extra blankets ready. I take my vitamins religiously now and try to sleep early. It is annoying but I just ride it out. Drink lots of water and stay warm. Hope you feel better soon love.

Quote from yewbay on October 18, 2025, 6:54 pmYeah totally normal. My man does this all the time. He just shuts up and goes outside or looks at his phone. I used to think something was wrong but then i figured out he just needs space to recharge. Now i just let him be. If i bother him he gets cranky so i just go do my own thing too. Its peaceful actually.
