Quote from Moonbeamstar1995 on November 29, 2021, 6:17 pmhonestly it feels like every influencer has glutes now lol i just do squats with a book between my knees because my physical therapist said my muscles are asleep. i dont care about the fancy bands or the 10 minute routines i just want to not feel like an old man when i stand up. rest of the time i read on the couch. if it helped me walk up stairs without wincing id be cool with it but the hype is exhausting

Quote from pinkrosebud1991 on January 23, 2021, 10:17 amThat sounds like a lot of work. I keep my husband happy on weekends so I can sleep in during the week. We also have kids so weekends are basically for family time anyway. If he wants that much energy maybe he can focus on his own hobbies. Honestly I just want to rest too. My body gets tired from work and looking after the house.

Quote from mooncoupon on September 25, 2021, 5:35 pmHonest truth is most of us are faking it. I used to think sleep fixed everything until I got my iron and vitamin D levels checked. Turns out I was just running on empty. Eight hours of sleep doesnt help if your body is fighting a deficiency. Go see a doctor and ask for blood work before buying another fancy pillow.

Quote from dusktruce on May 25, 2021, 2:38 amYeah totally. We just moved last month so I’m already running on fumes. Trying to settle in while keeping up with coursework is brutal. Im usually asleep by eight if I dont have a late class. My husband is deployed so its just me and the kids right now. Some days I just blank stare at the screen wondering how anyone keeps going. Coffee helps but only for about an hour.

Quote from donna2001 on October 20, 2021, 3:11 pmi started walking in flip flops one summer and low back pain hit. switched to actual walking shoes with arch support and it stopped. also my old yorkie pulls like crazy so i got a harness instead of a collar. changed my walking spot to the flat park path instead of the hilly neighborhood streets. sometimes its just the shoes or the terrain being too uneven. hope that helps.

Quote from susan1987 on January 24, 2022, 3:48 pmi use heating pads and witch hazel compresses when the pain gets bad. also trying to walk barefoot on grass helps ground me and loosen up my joints. my grandma taught me to rub warm olive oil mixed with clove oil into the knees before bed. it’s not a cure but it takes the edge off without numbing me out. keep moving gentle don’t let it sit still too long.

Quote from Wild1989 on August 18, 2022, 5:54 pmok so this happens to me too ngl. i figured out its the fabric softener causing it honestly. that stuff coats the fibers and traps bacteria basically. just stop using dryer sheets or liquid softener on activewear. instead throw a cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle. smells like nothing once dry but kills the funk. also dont let wet clothes sit in the hamper for days that makes it worse trust me.

Quote from sarah1984 on June 4, 2022, 4:41 amhonestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.
