Quote from Sweety1970 on May 7, 2024, 12:09 amhonestly i stopped trying to force myself to the gym. it just wasn working for me. now i just do 20 mins of yoga on my living room rug when i have time. some days i skip it and thats ok. no guilt. just moving my body because it feels good, not because some schedule says i should. keep it simple and dont beat yourself up over missing a day.

Quote from barbara1999 on August 30, 2024, 5:13 amomg sis same energy. Lol, we’re pacific so family always over but my husband is a stink bomb. i literally just pull the blankets over his head and bury him in the bed. if he wakes up squished he’ll wash his face at least. husband smells like fish and sweat but i’m too tired to fight. just use strong perfume and ignore it lol.

Quote from Betty1978 on July 25, 2024, 7:44 pmHonestly yes. I immigrated here ten years ago and still hate treadmills. My wife makes me do 30 mins but I look forward to it like going to dentist. After 20 mins my legs are jelly. Maybe try walking on incline first. Or just walk outside in neighborhood. Less boring anyway. We are all tired from life already dont push too hard.

Quote from Crimsonflute on February 19, 2024, 4:42 amyeah my tribe does smudging before class now. i just do 15 mins of sun salutations in my living room while listening to rain sounds. saves the drive and the frustration. honestly its just easier to move on your own time without dealing with cancellation emails. hope you find a rhythm that works for u too.

Quote from Jennifer1970 on April 25, 2024, 10:11 pmyeah mostly. i canceled mine after two months. the 10 minute guided sessions are fine but paying $15/mo for the same info you get on youtube for free is rough. now i just stare at a wall or listen to rain sounds. saves money, same stress relief. if you really need structure, buy a book once. cheaper in the long run.

Quote from Barbara1988 on May 27, 2024, 5:20 pmsame here. standing 8 hrs for work made my arches scream. i just swap to orthopedic inserts, not the cheap ones from mall. works way better. also try evening foot soak with epsom salt, helps reduce swelling after long shift. dont push through pain or it turns into plantar fasciitis. trust me, learned the hard way last year.

Quote from Janice1980 on March 24, 2024, 6:26 amHoney, I skipped my walk today. Just sat on the porch with sweet tea instead. My knees were aching and the humidity was already setting in. Dont let guilt run your life. Drink some water, put on comfy clothes, and rest up. Tomorrow is a new day to try again if you want to.

Quote from Farmgirl1990 on August 16, 2024, 3:30 pmnah that sounds like he’s just trying to get away with being rude. i just tell my partner straight up that his tone is disrespectful and i won’t tolerate it. if he gets defensive then i know he’s not listening. i walk away until he can speak to me with basic respect. you’re not too sensitive for wanting to be treated right.

Quote from fordbrake on March 5, 2024, 3:59 amyeah totally. i stop at 15 mins bc i feel like death after that. used to run easy then figured out my heart is just different now post, divorce and stress. don't push it too hard. if you’re exhausted that fast maybe your form is off or you’re going too fast for your current level. i just walk fast now and it’s enough.
