Y’all, my little church mouse just said a cuss word in Sunday school, now what?
Quote from Natalie1977 on June 7, 2025, 5:50 pmHe’s projecting. For real, When my ex did that, i stopped trying to read his mind. I just kept doing my thing. If he wants to talk, great. If not, i’m not gonna sit here anxious while he ignores me. You teach kids all day, you have enough emotional labor to do. Don’t give your energy away to someone who isn’t showing up. Just focus on your own routine and see if he steps up.

Quote from Bloomshadow on August 30, 2025, 6:06 pmI just say no and stop explaining myself. My body, my rules. If he cant handle that we done. I used to feel bad but now I see it as lazy communication on my part. You dont owe anyone access to yourself. Just be clear and consistent. If guilt creeps in remind yourself that you are allowed to rest too.

Quote from Linensluice on August 30, 2025, 6:06 pmomg seriously?? five minutes is barely enough time to settle in. my bf does this too and lowkey it’s kinda stressful. i just tell him i’m not ready yet and need to actually relax first. feels like a race sometimes. if he keeps pushing i’d honestly be confused bc like come on. give us a second to breathe ykno

Quote from Starkeep on July 28, 2026, 8:44 ami just switched to a basic pharmacy brand cleanser and one moisturizer. spend the rest of my budget on sunscreen. honestly my skin looks better when i stop overthinking it. the fancy serums were just making me break out from all the actives. keep it simple till it clears up. less is literally more. nobody needs eleven steps.

Quote from Rowannote on August 12, 2026, 11:12 amTotally feel this. I work in IT so I spend all day glued to screens anyway. Gym is just another isolating activity for me. I go to my local place near the office, grab a squat rack, listen to a podcast while lifting, then leave. No eye contact, no small talk. It’s efficient but yeah, super lonely. I usually just text my hype girl before and after. We don’t even workout together, just vent about heavy sets.

Quote from softpetal1994 on May 25, 2026, 1:16 amhey there. i get it. honestly i just let it happen. stopped trying to hold onto the old version of myself. days are long out here in the woods so i just put on boots and walk it off. doesnt fix everything but helps me sleep. dont overthink it. just breathe and keep moving. youll figure it out like everyone else does. tough but true.

Quote from velvetpilgrimage on August 3, 2025, 10:23 amSame situation here man. My husband acts like the kids are not his. I am exhausted holding everything down while he just sits there. My mom and sisters literally had to step in to help with the little ones otherwise I would have collapsed. It drives me crazy that I have to do everything. Just venting cause I have no energy left for this nonsense. Need a break badly.

Quote from Freemountain1986 on June 5, 2026, 9:52 amI give up on keeping it pristine. Bought heavy plastic bins for all the weights and shoved them under the desk. Now it looks like a storage closet but at least i can actually find things. My divorce was two years ago so i learned to let perfection go pretty quick. Just do what works for you, everyone else is too busy caring about their own mess.

Quote from Pinkrosebud1979 on October 31, 2025, 5:14 amy'all drink water after that sweat session? i always forget and end up crashing. I swear, also make sure yer eating enough protein right after. i had to train myself to snack on greek yogurt immediately. my body needed the fuel. rest is important too but hunger hits harder than i thought. try it out.

Quote from Danielle1981 on August 6, 2026, 12:59 pmit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?
