Quote from Bloomweb on October 15, 2024, 9:08 pmsister no u not lazy. i hit that wall hard last year. felt like carrying the world but had zero energy left. i stopped trying to do it all and just did the bare minimum for a while. let dishes pile up, ordered takeout, went to bed early. ur body is screaming for rest not more punishment. take the day off. truly.

Quote from gateagreement on September 17, 2024, 3:17 pmSame here. I skip the meditation apps. Just take ibuprofen, put on compression socks, and lie flat for 20 mins. Hot shower helps too. Dont try to fix it instantly. Just rest properly. My lower back is killing me from coding all week so I know the pain. Keep pushin through but dont ignore the ache. Eat something salty too.

Quote from Thyme on April 5, 2024, 9:44 pmsame honestly. yesterday i just walked on the treadmill listening to a podcast for 20 mins then left. felt crazy not lifting but my brain was fried from work. sometimes my body just needs to move without trying to kill itself. dont be so hard on yourself. consistency beats intensity every time anyway.

Quote from Ashley1999 on September 19, 2024, 3:55 amhaha same energy. my hips are basically jelly right now after that hot yoga sesh. i just lie on the couch in a fetal position and scroll reddit until the ache goes away. zero zen achieved today. just pure regret and ibuprofen. honestly if anyone tries to talk mindfulness to me rn im gonna scream. send snacks not solutions.

Quote from leadgate on August 17, 2024, 9:55 pmMan that is rough. Honestly we do a chore chart every Sunday night. Pretty much treats it like work shifts. He got the evening shift until 8 then I take over. It ain't always perfect but it helps split the mental load. If he ghosts his shift we talk about it the next day no yelling just facts. You gotta set boundaries early or it never changes.

Quote from rosewalk on January 9, 2024, 11:42 pmHonestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.

For real, im 38 and i hate cardio so every step on the treadmill is a struggle. i just go because my doctor said i need to keep my blood pressure down. its not fun but its necessary. i treat it like my daily chores, just gotta get it done so i can sit around later without feeling guilty.
