Quote from silvernest on November 10, 2025, 11:08 ami used to pay for one of those apps but stopped after a year. honestly the ads were more stressful than the calm sounds. now i just sit in my garden or listen to birds from the porch. doesnt cost a dime and feels just as peaceful. maybe we just need quiet time without the fancy tech telling us how to breathe.

Quote from Dragonfly on July 16, 2026, 1:16 pmHonestly I just sit on the bench with my coffee and watch. For real, They can climb the whole structure without me. I tried running around too when they were little but my knees gave out. Now I just yell if they get stuck. My back hurts enough from carrying groceries. Let them be independent already. I need to rest, not play.

Quote from oaksun on January 17, 2026, 10:39 pmYeah it’s awful. I’m 48 and just forgot my own nickname for the new dog. Three kids really fries you. I’ve started using a whiteboard by the door for important stuff just to keep my sanity. My ex used to joke about it but honestly it’s exhausting not knowing what day it is half the time. Just drink coffee and roll with it.

Quote from Grace1970 on February 26, 2026, 11:03 amthree years is forever honestly. i’ve been off apps for two years now. my tribe taught me patience is good but not sitting around waiting for magic. i go to classes and meet people through friends. if he can’t commit in that time he’s just using the app for ego. stop waiting. keep living your life.

Quote from Glenbird on May 8, 2026, 5:59 pmYeah it is exhausting. I just walk after school letting the kids use the playground while i move. No fancy gear or quick fixes. I dont track macros or do interval training. Just getting outside helps clear my head after grading papers. Simple really. Trying to keep it sustainable so i dont burn out completely.
