Quote from Peaknectar on April 24, 2024, 11:48 pmBabe take the nap. Seriously. My husband wants round two daily and I’m over it. I just tell him I’m dead to the world. We compromise on weekends. Rest is sacred at my age. If he’s mad he can sleep on the couch. Your energy is limited so spend it on yourself. Don’t feel guilty.

Quote from Hollowcomparison on February 27, 2025, 11:17 amI dont even try anymore. After watching my grandkids all day im drained. I used to feel guilty but now i just stretch in the living room while watching TV. Its enough movement for me honestly. If they are napping i might do some light yoga but thats it. Total surrender to the couch is the best plan.

Quote from MossmountaIN on January 5, 2025, 3:48 pmsame here. standing 8 hrs for work made my arches scream. i just swap to orthopedic inserts, not the cheap ones from mall. works way better. also try evening foot soak with epsom salt, helps reduce swelling after long shift. dont push through pain or it turns into plantar fasciitis. trust me, learned the hard way last year.

Quote from sugarplum1983 on January 4, 2025, 10:17 pmI hit sixty two and my knees r still grinding but i keep moving. I do chair yoga every morning just five mins to loosen up. Then I bake cookies cause the smell makes me feel good. Don’t stress the aches too much honey we all get here eventually. Just find ur comfort routines and stick with them.

Quote from Icesight on February 8, 2025, 7:24 pmi feel that. moving every few years makes it hard to stick with a routine or find good spots. ive been lifting heavy and just focusing on strength instead of the scale number. the scale goes up bc muscle weighs more but i look leaner and feel stronger. honestly ignoring the number is the only thing that helps me not hate the gym. just keep showing up.

Quote from Wildrose1968 on September 23, 2025, 9:29 amhonestly for me its the post workout crash after eating. Tbh, i used to skip snacks right after gym and then nap for 3 hours. now i force myself to eat protein within 30 mins of finishing. also make sure ur drinking water not just during but after too. dehydration hits different when u sweat that much. try eating something small immediately and see if it helps u feel less wiped out the next day.

Quote from Daisy1984 on September 16, 2025, 7:23 amdamn that is so disrespectful. i would literally throw his phone across the room right then and there. i dont even care if he says he didnt talk to her. the fact that he matched is the betrayal. i would pack a bag and leave that night. zero tolerance for that kind of shady behavior. hope you have the strength to walk away because thats not love.

Quote from Proudwhisper on July 8, 2025, 7:41 pmhon i set clear boundaries day one. told her house rules include no rituals in living spaces. she can do it in her own place or outside. simple as that. been married 12 years, never had issues since. if you dont speak up they just keep doing it. be direct but polite. my dad in law handles the stuff now. works for us.

Quote from Dewriver on June 29, 2025, 4:01 pmHoney I feel you. I just park way back in the lot and walk in slow. Nobody looks at nobody anyway. I wear my old sweat clothes so I dont care what happens. Its just noise and machines. You gotta get used to being uncomfortable at first. Just go do one thing then leave if you need to. Keep it simple.

Quote from LuckyRose on November 24, 2025, 7:20 amSame here. I skip the meditation apps. Just take ibuprofen, put on compression socks, and lie flat for 20 mins. Hot shower helps too. Dont try to fix it instantly. Just rest properly. My lower back is killing me from coding all week so I know the pain. Keep pushin through but dont ignore the ache. Eat something salty too.
