why do i always get sick right after starting to feel better
Quote from BrightSong on June 4, 2026, 9:51 pmI switch to walking shoes for service instead of my heels. Saves my joints. Also ibuprofen 30 mins before we leave. Dont wait till its too late. My knees sound like popcorn when I stand up if I dont prep. Just trying to stay mobile so I can keep up with my grandkids. Yall know the drill.

Quote from Dawnlicense on January 7, 2026, 8:02 pmLook I stopped trying to be spiritual all the time. It felt like work. Now I just drink water and walk outside. If I need to reset I sit quietly for five mins. No chanting no crystals. Just breathing. My peace comes from boundaries not rituals. Keep it simple. Rest when tired. Ignore the pressure to be enlightened. You dont owe anyone your energy.

Quote from Ivorylake on May 18, 2025, 11:40 pmyeah honestly same here. i used to feel like my heart was gonna explode after just walking up stairs, let alone running. now i do 5ks weekly but still pant like a crazy person. i just stop, drink water, and wait it out. its not pretty but you get used to the feeling. dont push too hard at first. maybe try walking intervals if running feels too much.

Quote from bravesun on May 31, 2025, 12:02 pmnah not weird at all i work two jobs up here in the hills and by the time i get home i just want to sit on the porch and stare at the mountains. Honestly, my husband gets it too we are basically roommates sometimes and thats fine. dont let anyone make you feel guilty for being tired. rest is important.

Quote from JoyOpal on January 7, 2025, 12:56 pmi been there. started getting really tired and holding water when i hit forty. went to the doc and got blood work done. turns out it was just perimenopause hitting hard. took a bit of adjusting but knowing it wasnt permanent helped. also cut down on salt cause that bloating was awful. hope you feel better soon.

Quote from Anna1994 on June 14, 2025, 11:06 pmsame. just bought a meditation app at 11pm and now i am staring at the ceiling waiting for enlightenment. it is not working. the couch feels like it glued itself to me. i tried shifting my legs but the friction coefficient is too high. probably will just nap for 20 mins and ruin my circadian rhythm again. send coffee. or dont. i am too tired to decide.

Quote from Debra1998 on April 6, 2026, 3:57 pmfr bro is he alive lol i usually say let me grab my purse first cuz that’s my polite way of saying no without being rude. Honestly, also check if he’s just rushing to get home. my ex did that. u know the drill. keep it casual and see if he walks u to ur car or just stands there staring. red flag if hes clocking the whole date like its a pit stop.

Quote from Craftqueen1977 on August 9, 2026, 12:18 pmI moved my shower time to early morning. By the time he’s done his long ritual I’ve already finished mine and started getting ready for the day. It stopped the waiting game completely. I just had to accept that’s how he takes care of himself and adjust my schedule around it. Works for now since we both get what we need without the passive aggression over the bathroom.

Quote from Stonejourney on July 16, 2026, 1:16 pmnah just go. i always use busy work as an excuse to skip but regret it later. my family gathers every weekend so i try to squeeze in a quick session before them. keeps the stress down. even twenty minutes is better than nothing. dont overthink it. just put on your shoes and go. you will feel better after.

Quote from Finvista on September 6, 2026, 2:19 amdefinitely real. Lol, i’m 36 in tech, sit 10 hours a day, and got diagnosed last year. my doctor said it’s nerve sensitivity not just aging. i started doing gentle yoga and fixing my posture at work. helps a bit. don’t ignore it, get blood work done to rule out other stuff first. honestly the fatigue is the worst part, more than the pain.
