why do i always get sick right after starting to feel better
Quote from Gentleforest2003 on December 2, 2024, 8:55 pmfr that sounds exhausting. I swear, i had a phase like that too but refused to sit in the discomfort. started leaving notes on the counter just stating what i needed that night straight up. took the pressure off having a convo but still communicated my needs. if he still wont talk then u gotta decide if u wanna stay lonely or find intimacy elsewhere. my husband had to step up quick or i was out.

Quote from iceravine on December 2, 2024, 1:50 amomg same energy. For real, honestly i just leave it there til he notices himself. if i keep doing his chores he never learns. plus my family is big so there’s always dishes piling up anyway. i just wash mine and let his rot. not my circus not my monkeys. lol.

Quote from Free1982 on May 11, 2024, 11:04 pmugh same. i just walk on the treadmill while catching up on podcasts. no heavy lifting for me right now. honestly the gym mirrors are still kinda triggering so i wear a hoodie and keep my head down. low expectations keep me sane. just showing up wins for me these days. its not about burning calories its about claiming that hour for myself.

Quote from moonbeam1985 on August 13, 2025, 5:48 amhonestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.

Quote from Lucky1978 on March 28, 2026, 6:07 pmit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from DawnGrove on January 18, 2026, 9:42 amI literally just told my man to take over every other weekend. No negotiation. If he wants to be a dad, he steps up. I used to do everything too until I got so tired I just stopped caring. Now he handles bedtime and laundry on his days. It’s not fair but it’s necessary for my sanity. Just set the boundary baby.

Quote from tiffany1996 on September 16, 2025, 7:23 amSame. I feel like I’m running on fumes mostly. I’ve started drinking way more water and forcing myself to put my phone away an hour before bed. It helps a bit but honestly I think it’s just burnout from work and life in general. I’m not even that old yet but I definitely feel it in my bones lol.

Quote from Harpchronicle on May 17, 2026, 8:07 pmSame here. By 1pm I am totally zhoos gaya. Earning sabzi vendor level patience. My thali is heavy daal chawal, makes me sleepy fast. Even coffee doesnt help after 1pm. Just crash on sofa for one ghanta. If I dont rest, whole shabaar mood ho jaata hai. Husband thinks I am lazy but actually body just shuts down. Survive till dinnar time only.
