honestly I tell him straight up that I dont need those details. if he keeps bringing her name up I just stop listening and change the topic. you dont get paid to hear about his past drama so dont let him dump it on you. keep it light and make him focus on us. if he cant let go maybe he should be talking to his shrink not you. simple as that.

honestly i just stop overthinking. Honestly, when my divorce was final i called my brother and we went to mall. simple. first date i just went for chai with guy. no fancy dinner stress. if khana was bad or vibe off i left. no drama. just see what happens. dont plan whole life in one meeting. take it easy sis. sometimes bhaiya beta helps too for chaperone lol. keep it low pressure.

same. i treat it like i have to go to the office. hate that vibe so bad. my abuela would yell at me for sweating for money lol. usually just put on bad salsa music and pretend im dancing not lifting. makes it less boring at least. if it feels like work im doing something wrong maybe but idk. just push through and leave.

my husband is the same way. we just sit watch tv and hold hands. he says its enough to feel close. i tried talking more but he gets shut down. so now i just lean into it. sometimes silence is better than fake words. dont force convo if hes not there. just sit with him. it works for us even if it feels weird at first. trust the quiet.

same girl. i swear my treadmill is worse than my ex. i started walking backwards on it just to mess with my brain and its actually working. also watching trash tv while i do it so i dont have to think about the monotony. if you feel like your gonna puke just stop. dont push through it. my knees already hate me enough. also chicago winter makes me wanna never leave the house so this is my compromise.

nah not weird at all i work two jobs up here in the hills and by the time i get home i just want to sit on the porch and stare at the mountains. my husband gets it too we are basically roommates sometimes and thats fine. dont let anyone make you feel guilty for being tired. rest is important.

Honestly yeah i cancelled headspace last year. saved the money and just sit on my balcony with my phone in another room. 10 mins of staring at the void works just as well. apps are just a business model targeting anxious professionals. plus the constant notifications reminding you to meditate is ironic at best. keep it simple.

Oh honey same here tried everything honestly ice packs after gardening help a ton and those little foam knee pads u get at cvs before mowing the lawn. My husband calls me grandma gunderson cause i walk like a penguin but hey it keeps me moving. Praying for u girl

I just started sleeping on the couch. Honestly it was easier than lying there staring at the ceiling feeling rejected. He sleeps better now too but we barely speak. I spend my time with my horses and friends. You gotta take care of yourself first. If he won't put in the work then stop waiting for him to change. It saves a lot of drama.

idk if itll help but i sleep with my window cracked and a fan pointing directly at my feet. also iced matcha instead of coffee helps me chill out before bed. its brutal rn though. my upstairs apartment is basically a sauna. just trying to survive until fall. hope u manage to get some rest.
