Quote from Echopromenade on February 3, 2022, 7:31 pmYeah totally normal. For real, My man does this all the time. He just shuts up and goes outside or looks at his phone. I used to think something was wrong but then i figured out he just needs space to recharge. Now i just let him be. If i bother him he gets cranky so i just go do my own thing too. Its peaceful actually.

Quote from wise1982 on July 27, 2022, 9:58 pmYeah honey I been there. My knees dont stop hurting and I catch myself staring at the neighbors house wondering who is inside. So I started walking the track at my church twice a day. Just walking yall. No talking. It helps clear my head. Also tried those little pickle snacks at the drugstore weirdly they hit the spot. Be kind to yourself mama.

Quote from Bright1972 on October 19, 2022, 3:06 pmit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Creeklight on March 13, 2022, 4:30 amfr though i see why you’re mad tbh. i turned twenty and he bought me those overpriced candles instead of the matcha kit i literally printed out and emailed him. i didn’t make a huge deal of it, but my internal monologue was screaming. it’s not the gift, it’s the fact that he keeps missing the small things that actually make me feel seen. ugh.

Quote from Jules1967 on January 2, 2022, 4:08 amI just throw a load of laundry in and call it a day. My husband complains but he never helps so I just ignore him. I’m black and white but mostly exhausted from moving every two years. Chicago winters are brutal enough without stressing over dust bunnies. I eat cereal on the counter while boxes sit in the living room. If he wants it perfect he can clean it himself. I’m too tired to care rn.

Quote from Craftqueen1993 on March 19, 2022, 4:11 pmI stopped swiping after two years because my thumb hurt more than my heart. Just dumped the apps last month. Started going to the feed store and talking to guys who buy grain. Met a nice fella last week, slow and steady. You dont need the dopamine hit. Real life is slower but better. Go touch grass instead.

Quote from Lucky1994 on January 29, 2022, 3:49 pmfr I got u. sometimes I just want somebody to stare at me like I’m the only person in the room again. stuff gets real and u just wanna nap or argue about whose turn it is to do dishes. I catch myself daydreaming about those late night calls where we just talked for hours about nothing. it’s not wrong it’s just human. I’m still trying to figure out how to keep that spark alive without losing my mind.

Quote from Budstub on May 14, 2022, 6:58 amsame here. i just stare at the ceiling till my eyes hurt. usually its work stuff or wondering if i said something stupid. eventually i get up to drink water and check emails which is stupid but hey. then i feel worse. so i go back to bed. it’s a vicious cycle of overthinking and bad decisions. gonna try nap time tonight instead.

Quote from WillowMoon on December 28, 2023, 9:00 amhonestly same. lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.
