Quote from Twinkleleather on May 14, 2022, 6:58 amUgh that sounds so frustrating. My guy did the same thing, calling me crazy for wanting to talk while he was just scrolling on his phone. I stopped trying to fix it. I just told him I need him to be present or I’m gonna take my energy elsewhere. If he stays distant, mirror that. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking you’re too much when he’s putting in zero effort. Keep it real with yourself.

Quote from Frostloch on December 26, 2022, 4:43 pmhonestly i stopped keeping score years ago. now i just buy myself flowers and go get lunch with my best friend. we laugh about it over coffee. he gets the silent treatment until he remembers next time. dont waste your energy crying over it. treat yourself instead. my husband forgot our 30th too. i just changed the subject and ordered pizza. life goes on.

Quote from WarmHope on January 16, 2022, 4:18 pmMan that is rough. Honestly we do a chore chart every Sunday night. Pretty much treats it like work shifts. He got the evening shift until 8 then I take over. It ain't always perfect but it helps split the mental load. If he ghosts his shift we talk about it the next day no yelling just facts. You gotta set boundaries early or it never changes.

Quote from yarnwalk on September 21, 2023, 3:39 pmhonestly same. lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.

Quote from Angela1996 on June 28, 2023, 1:53 ambasit, true feeling like garbage is not normal. I am 58 now, body pain starts after breakfast. But I walk in park every morning with chai in hand. Doctor says keep moving. Sar ka bhari pareshani? Forget it. Just eat good food and sleep well. No drama please. Life continues, we just have to adjust our chappal and keep walking.

Quote from Frostreservoir on April 15, 2023, 11:45 pmHonestly just tell him to stop. Tbh, Ive been with my husband for eight years and we move constantly so i dont have time for drama. If he cant leave his ex in the past then hes not ready. I wouldnt even listen anymore if he brought it up twice. Just shut it down firmly. You deserve better than that baggage.

Quote from Goldenheart1995 on August 31, 2023, 8:21 pmstress drains the spirit first then the body feels it. i get that emptiness often. lately i just sit outside for 10 mins every morning no phone just watching birds or leaves move. helps reset my nervous system. also drinking more water and walking without headphones. sometimes we overthink when we just need to move or breathe. try stepping away from screens for an hour.

Quote from Teresa1973 on July 19, 2023, 9:26 amOh honey same here lol. I tried my first yoga retreat last year and spent half the class waddling around. I just sit on a folded towel now and let it all go. No fancy props needed. My knees click like a geiger counter but at least I get some quiet time to drink tea. Keep going dear.

Quote from Sandy1977 on October 4, 2023, 4:55 amhonestly just changed his routine completely. told him if he wants to keep seeing me he needs to shower right after the gym not wait till he gets home. also switch to a stronger deodorant and change underwear twice a day if sweating. i dont care how tired he is nobody wants to smell that. simple fix really.
