I just throw a load of laundry in and call it a day. My husband complains but he never helps so I just ignore him. I’m black and white but mostly exhausted from moving every two years. Chicago winters are brutal enough without stressing over dust bunnies. I eat cereal on the counter while boxes sit in the living room. If he wants it perfect he can clean it himself. I’m too tired to care rn.

i do the same thing. spent months hating him for taking over all the chores and now i miss having company at dinner. its weird but true. the silence in my empty house is louder than our arguments ever were. just started cooking for two again out of habit then catching myself lol.

omg same. i’ve been sitting at my desk all day and my feet look like puffy marshmallows. i keep taking off my shoes under the table at work. honestly i think its just the chicago heat or maybe i’m dehydrated. i started drinking like 4 gallons of water a day k ik its a lot but it helped a little. just chilling with em off tonight.

yeah it happens. i used to get awful knee pain after leg day too. usually means you pushed too hard too fast. i started doing more warm up squats before lifting and stretching right after. also make sure your form is right. if it keeps hurting take a break. dont ignore it. my knees are fine now as long as i listen to them. hope u feel better soon.

fr though i see why you’re mad tbh. i turned twenty and he bought me those overpriced candles instead of the matcha kit i literally printed out and emailed him. i didn’t make a huge deal of it, but my internal monologue was screaming. it’s not the gift, it’s the fact that he keeps missing the small things that actually make me feel seen. ugh.

Honestly yes I do it twice a week even at my age. Yes it hurts the next day but the strength is worth it. I just lifted light dumbbells and did some squats yesterday. Felt like jelly today but I can still carry my groceries and play with my grandkids without my back killing me. Just stretch well and drink plenty of water. It keeps me independent and strong.

we moved 3 times last year. Ngl, my husband thinks moving boxes is mans work but folding shirts is mine. i let the living room pile up. he complained once then carried the trash to curb himself. dont cook fancy food on day 1. order pizza. if house isnt perfect but kids are fed and beds are made thats win in my book. survival mode is real for immigrant moms.

Honestly that sounds nasty. My husband always says I smell like dirt and old coffee after he lets the dogs out. I just dump cheap white wine on my ankles and forget it. If he’s analyzing your scent you should probably find someone less obsessed with weird details. I’m too tired to deal with that kind of nonsense. Just keep ignoring him until he goes away. Seriously men are so exhausting sometimes.

honestly i dont even know what he means. i just want to feel good. if he thinks asking for what i like is too much then he has bigger problems. i just say what i want clearly cause its not mind reading. if hes mad about that then ima send him to therapy not me. we are adults here. stop making it complicated.

Yeah I get that. My back is wrecked every night. I stop and breathe before I lift them off the ground. Keep em low. Also stretch my hamstrings before bed or I cant sleep. Just drink water and ice it later. Dont try to power through the pain or youll be out for a week.
