Quote from Jessica1965 on September 18, 2023, 3:39 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Judy1968 on November 14, 2023, 11:42 amfr though i see why you’re mad tbh. i turned twenty and he bought me those overpriced candles instead of the matcha kit i literally printed out and emailed him. i didn’t make a huge deal of it, but my internal monologue was screaming. it’s not the gift, it’s the fact that he keeps missing the small things that actually make me feel seen. ugh.

Quote from lisa1992 on March 16, 2023, 10:12 pmyeah that sounds off. i run 3 miles outside daily and i’m fine after. maybe your pace is too high or the incline is tweaked weird. check your form too, shrugging shoulders drains you fast. i just keep it steady, breathe deep, and listen to my body. if it burns out quick, dial it down. dont push through that kind of fatigue.

Quote from ann on December 10, 2023, 9:00 amArey oye, change those socks daily beta! In India we say if you dont wash gym clothes separately, bacteria stays. Also maybe he needs better deodorant or shower more. Dont just complain, tell him directly to sort his hygiene. If he smells bad after one day, it is his problem not yours. Make him take responsibility for his own cleanliness. Simple as that.

Quote from ScarletSilver on May 21, 2024, 5:18 pmMy husband used to think that was plenty till I started scheduling other things. Now we do it twice a week or he gets left out. Not trying to be mean but if you dont prioritize it he will assume its low priority to you too. Communication is key, even if it feels awkward at first. Just set the expectation early.

Quote from birdbond on November 10, 2024, 8:06 amive moved every 18 months for work and yeah it kills the vibe. hard to build intimacy when you are busy unpacking boxes or sleeping on an air mattress. my partner and i just stopped trying to plan dates during the first year in a new city. we just ordered takeout and watched movies until things settled down. now we wait until lease renews to start dating again

Quote from Christina1988 on September 29, 2024, 12:39 pmHoney i think you just got too much on your feet all at once. My back kills me after even ten minutes on the sidewalk now. I stretch like crazy when i get home and then just lie down with a heating pad on my lower back. Make sure your dog isn pulling you off balance too. Rest up.
