tired of trying to work out but my anxiety is so loud
Quote from Linda1987 on June 14, 2025, 8:53 amHonestly just tell him to stop. Ive been with my husband for eight years and we move constantly so i dont have time for drama. If he cant leave his ex in the past then hes not ready. I wouldnt even listen anymore if he brought it up twice. Just shut it down firmly. You deserve better than that baggage.

Quote from Dorothy1965 on June 14, 2025, 8:53 amI literally just told my man to take over every other weekend. Tbh, No negotiation. If he wants to be a dad, he steps up. I used to do everything too until I got so tired I just stopped caring. Now he handles bedtime and laundry on his days. It’s not fair but it’s necessary for my sanity. Just set the boundary baby.

Quote from Carol1979 on August 24, 2025, 3:54 pmHonestly I just stopped apologizing. My husband thinks I’m mad sometimes but I’m not. Just tired. Or bored. It’s okay. We cuddle instead. Or watch TV. I don’t force it. If I want to, it happens. If not, we sleep. My body isn’t a public service. Try that. It works for us. At least the guilt is gone for me.

Quote from mountainmom1969 on May 22, 2026, 3:35 amI stop buying water and snacks there. Margins are insane. I pack my own lunches and bring a reusable bottle. Gas stations are convenience stores first, not grocery stores. You pay for the impulse buy and the 24/7 access. If you really need something quick just grab the basics but dont expect to save money. I left my empty chip bag in the car last time trying to avoid the checkout line temptation.

Quote from wisehillside2002 on June 5, 2025, 3:30 amhonestly its just me and definitely not just you. Honestly, im mixed race and living in chicago with zero patience for dating games so my sex life is basically non existent right now. im too anxious to even text men back consistently let alone plan dates. just scrolling tiktok and overthinking every interaction instead of actually doing anything. my libido is low bc my brain is in fight or flight mode all the time.

Quote from skyflight on October 29, 2025, 3:09 pmYeah totally. I used to say yes to everything and ended up burnt out before the season even started. Now I just ghost people who ask favors if theyre not close friends. Saves me so much mental energy. If they get mad they werent worth the hassle anyway. Focus is everything when you have real goals. No guilt allowed.

Quote from Anna2001 on December 28, 2025, 8:28 pmYeah it ain’t just you. My knees sound like crunchy cereal every morning. I started wearing compression sleeves and cutting back on high impact stuff. Yoga helps too but omg the stairs are painful. Just keep moving so they don’t lock up completely. Drink plenty of water and stretch. We’ll be spry forever or at least pretend to be.

Quote from echobulwark on August 30, 2025, 4:01 pmI just say no and stop explaining myself. My body, my rules. If he cant handle that we done. I used to feel bad but now I see it as lazy communication on my part. You dont owe anyone access to yourself. Just be clear and consistent. If guilt creeps in remind yourself that you are allowed to rest too.

Quote from goldvelvet on February 1, 2025, 7:34 pmYeah totally normal. My husband does the same after work. He just sits on the porch and stares at the trees or works on his truck. I dont bother him. It gives him space to chill so hes not grumpy later. Some guys just need that quiet time to decompress. I get my own time too. We both respect it. It works for us.

Quote from Seedretreat on January 6, 2026, 11:33 amhonestly for me its the post workout crash after eating. i used to skip snacks right after gym and then nap for 3 hours. now i force myself to eat protein within 30 mins of finishing. also make sure ur drinking water not just during but after too. dehydration hits different when u sweat that much. try eating something small immediately and see if it helps u feel less wiped out the next day.
