Quote from Cheryl2001 on March 24, 2023, 9:17 amYeah it is. My brain feels like scrambled eggs most days. Ill forget why i walked into a room or leave keys in weird places. Im a runner so i try to clear my head with hard workouts but honestly its just chaos. You do what you can and accept the mess. Dont stress over the little stuff none of it matters anyway. Just keep going.

Quote from true1997 on May 21, 2024, 5:18 pmI stopped swiping after two years because my thumb hurt more than my heart. Just dumped the apps last month. Started going to the feed store and talking to guys who buy grain. Met a nice fella last week, slow and steady. You dont need the dopamine hit. Real life is slower but better. Go touch grass instead.

Quote from Mountainrose1979 on April 22, 2024, 4:59 pmugh seriously my husband did the exact same thing last week after we moved to germany. i told him to take a hike because his mum lives three time zones away and i am not her. i cook what i want what happens and if he doesnt like it he can figure it out himself. honestly the constant moving makes me too tired to stress over replicating some random meal his brain is fixated on anyway. just keep doing you.

Quote from victoria1975 on September 4, 2024, 4:57 pmLook I got that same knee trouble. I just take ibuprofen when I actually need it to move around. Not everyday though. My doctor said its safe in moderation. Also try putting ice on it after work. I keep a bag in the freezer ready to go. Works better than sitting there in pain trying to be tough.

Quote from peachy1970 on April 30, 2024, 8:23 amsame here. just got back from my third move in two years so i know the drill. honestly i just load everything into labeled bins and dont overthink it. my husband handles the heavy lifting while i manage the chaos of keeping the kids calm in the car. it sucks but we do what we gotta do. counting down the days until we actually unpack everything for real.

Quote from peattoil on June 14, 2024, 9:33 pmHonestly same. That humidity gets to me every single night. I stopped trying to fight it and just bought those gel cooling pads for the mattress. Works a little better than flipping sheets. Also keep a damp washcloth by the bed and rotate it in the freezer. Not glamorous but it helps me get maybe six hours. Good luck out there.

Quote from Wildheart1988 on September 3, 2024, 9:39 amugh right. i used to try deep breathing but it just made me more anxious. now i just zone out with loud action movies or listen to true crime podcasts. keeps my brain busy so i dont overthink. also ice baths help when my muscles feel tight from stress. honestly just numbing the noise out works better than trying to calm down. its exhausting being on high alert all the time.
