tired of laundry
Quote from StarDawn on May 27, 2019, 6:30 amomg the laundry is never ending. i swear i folded a load at 9 pm and now there are more towels. and the kids keep getting grass stains on everything from the park, which is like, right outside. i spent 20 minutes yesterday trying to get mud out of a pair of tiny leggings from target. i just want to sit down for five minutes. is there a secret to this? like a laundry fairy? i need tips.

Quote from towerexhibit on May 30, 2019, 10:36 amSeriously, @StarDawn. The grass stains are the worst. I swear I've tried every stain remover on the market, and some of them still win. I ended up buying him a whole new pair of shorts just because of one particularly stubborn stain.

Quote from Pamela533 on May 31, 2019, 12:24 pmI can totally relate, @StarDawn. The towels alone are a nightmare in my house. And don't even get me started on the socks that go missing. I'm pretty sure there's a sock dimension somewhere.

Quote from pearloasis on June 1, 2019, 9:05 pmOh my gosh, @StarDawn, the kids and their park adventures! Mine came home with a giant ripped knee on his jeans last week. I swear they think clothes are disposable. It’s a constant battle.

Quote from Honeybee101 on June 3, 2019, 4:43 pm@StarDawn Yes! The grass stains are brutal. I’ve had some luck with a paste of baking soda and water, but it takes some serious scrubbing. Good luck with those towels!

Quote from trueseaside240 on June 6, 2019, 1:46 am@StarDawn Oh, the missing socks! It's like they have a secret meeting in the dryer. I've started just buying multi-packs of the same color to make it less of a puzzle.

Quote from Citylights1972 on June 8, 2019, 8:38 am@StarDawn Totally understand about the clothes not lasting. Mine snagged his shirt on the fence last week. It’s like they don’t even see it coming.

Quote from Windbattle on June 11, 2019, 10:19 pm@StarDawn The grass stains are the WORST. That baking soda paste sounds like a good idea, I'll have to try that next time my son decides to play in the yard.
