Quote from Carol2000 on June 26, 2023, 12:59 amhonestly same. Honestly, lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.

Quote from brightiron on June 11, 2023, 3:37 pmYeah it’s the divorce fatigue. I’m 46 and honestly just wrecked. Spent all day sorting through mail and thinking about alimony payments instead of actually living. My knees hurt from walking the dog and my brain feels foggy all day. Just drank iced coffee but still feel heavy. Not sure if it’s grief or just old age kicking in early.

Quote from Meadowtower on January 9, 2023, 7:50 pmI had to stop signing up for team sports where everyone relies on me to show up. Now I just go run by myself before work. If people dont wanna meet me outside, they can wait in the car or stay home. My workout is my workout. I dont have time or energy to babysit grown adults through their fitness journeys. It is exhausting and pointless. I focus on my pace and my goals only. Boundaries helped more than any new routine ever did.

Quote from amanda1983 on June 18, 2023, 11:39 amSame here. My ex wanted nonstop. Now I’m single and if a guy asks for more than once a week I’m out. I spend my free time napping, reading, or drinking wine on the patio. Zero sex drive since the divorce. If he’s tired he can go sleep. I had enough of being someone’s hobby. This peace is worth more than any hookup. Just let him figure it out.

Quote from covechronicle on December 27, 2023, 3:08 pmNot weird at all. I miss making his coffee and folding his shirts way more than I miss the actual relationship. The drama was exhausting. The routine was peaceful. I still wake up reaching for the iron sometimes. It’s just quieter now. I’m learning to be okay with my own company instead of filling the space with someone else’s nonsense. It takes time but the calm is worth it.

Quote from Abigail1965 on March 13, 2024, 6:27 pmHonestly yeah. Tbh, After kids and coding all day, my battery is dead before I even shower. I just want five mins without checking Slack. My partner gets it now, we stick to cuddling or quickies when energy allows. No pressure, no date nights planning stress. Just existing together. If ur forcing it, it gets worse. Take the pressure off.

Quote from Gentle1999 on October 11, 2024, 8:18 amI get it. At 47, i assumed sleep was free but it really ain’t. I cut coffee after 10am and started taking magnesium before bed. Also checking my iron levels. Sometimes it’s just bad habits. Try going to bed 30 mins earlier and no phone in bed. Just straight sleep.
