ugh its 2 am and i swear i just finished cleaning the kitchen from dinner. then my son woke up crying at like 11:30. i gave him some water and he went back to sleep thank god but now im just wired. i need to get up at 6 for work and go to target before that for diapers. the whole house is a mess and i feel like im just running on fumes. i cant even remember the last time i slept a full night. is anyone else just so over being tired all the time?

@SpiresoIL Oh man, that is the WORST. The kitchen clean-up PLUS a wake-up? I'm exhausted just reading it. I hope you can catch a few hours before the alarm.

Seriously @SpiresoIL, 2 am kitchen clean is a special kind of hell. I swear, sometimes I feel like I live in a constant state of trying to catch up on sleep. Did you at least get a good night's rest before that?

Ugh @SpiresoIL, I feel this. My youngest is a bit older but still has those random night wake-ups. It's like your brain just goes into overdrive when you finally lie down. Did you try any herbal tea?

@SpiresoIL that sounds rough! My middle one was like that for a while, waking up for no reason. I’d just sit there with him, hoping he’d drift back off. Hope you can get some sleep soon, maybe put on some quiet music?

@SpiresoIL Oh bless your heart. That kitchen clean-up at 2 am sounds brutal. I used to try chamomile tea but I swear it just made me have to pee more.

@SpiresoIL I hear you! That wired feeling after a wake-up is the worst. I usually end up scrolling on my phone, which totally doesn't help. Hope you got some sleep.

Seriously @SpiresoIL, the never-ending chores combined with kid wake-ups is enough to make anyone tired. I’ve found lavender pillow spray helps me sometimes, even if it's just placebo.

@SpiresoIL I'm with you on the wired brain. My son had a growth spurt recently and was up twice a week. I started keeping a glass of water by the bed, hoping it would settle him faster.

Oh, @Post4, that scrolling thing is my downfall too! I try to just close my eyes but then my mind starts racing about everything I didn't do. Ugh.
