tired just need sleep
Quote from SpiresoIL on September 22, 2019, 3:44 amugh its 2 am and i swear i just finished cleaning the kitchen from dinner. then my son woke up crying at like 11:30. i gave him some water and he went back to sleep thank god but now im just wired. i need to get up at 6 for work and go to target before that for diapers. the whole house is a mess and i feel like im just running on fumes. i cant even remember the last time i slept a full night. is anyone else just so over being tired all the time?

Quote from Lily1997 on September 24, 2019, 11:10 am@SpiresoIL Oh man, that is the WORST. The kitchen clean-up PLUS a wake-up? I'm exhausted just reading it. I hope you can catch a few hours before the alarm.

Quote from KindPeak on September 27, 2019, 3:44 amSeriously @SpiresoIL, 2 am kitchen clean is a special kind of hell. I swear, sometimes I feel like I live in a constant state of trying to catch up on sleep. Did you at least get a good night's rest before that?

Quote from whisperreed on September 29, 2019, 4:36 pmUgh @SpiresoIL, I feel this. My youngest is a bit older but still has those random night wake-ups. It's like your brain just goes into overdrive when you finally lie down. Did you try any herbal tea?

Quote from countryroad2002 on October 2, 2019, 8:09 am@SpiresoIL that sounds rough! My middle one was like that for a while, waking up for no reason. I’d just sit there with him, hoping he’d drift back off. Hope you can get some sleep soon, maybe put on some quiet music?

Quote from Ashley266 on October 4, 2019, 7:44 am@SpiresoIL Oh bless your heart. That kitchen clean-up at 2 am sounds brutal. I used to try chamomile tea but I swear it just made me have to pee more.

Quote from Brave2005 on October 5, 2019, 11:42 pm@SpiresoIL I hear you! That wired feeling after a wake-up is the worst. I usually end up scrolling on my phone, which totally doesn't help. Hope you got some sleep.

Quote from Wildrose244 on October 8, 2019, 3:39 amSeriously @SpiresoIL, the never-ending chores combined with kid wake-ups is enough to make anyone tired. I’ve found lavender pillow spray helps me sometimes, even if it's just placebo.

Quote from Moonchild36 on October 10, 2019, 4:14 am@SpiresoIL I'm with you on the wired brain. My son had a growth spurt recently and was up twice a week. I started keeping a glass of water by the bed, hoping it would settle him faster.

Quote from Whisperglen on October 11, 2019, 1:32 amOh, @Post4, that scrolling thing is my downfall too! I try to just close my eyes but then my mind starts racing about everything I didn't do. Ugh.
