Quote from Elmwall on September 5, 2025, 8:32 pmi been there. started getting really tired and holding water when i hit forty. went to the doc and got blood work done. turns out it was just perimenopause hitting hard. took a bit of adjusting but knowing it wasnt permanent helped. also cut down on salt cause that bloating was awful. hope you feel better soon.

Quote from Cedarsleet on June 14, 2025, 12:13 pmomg sis same energy. we’re pacific so family always over but my husband is a stink bomb. i literally just pull the blankets over his head and bury him in the bed. if he wakes up squished he’ll wash his face at least. husband smells like fish and sweat but i’m too tired to fight. just use strong perfume and ignore it lol.

Quote from Brenda1994 on June 14, 2025, 12:13 pmSame here. My husband also takes forever. I just put on noise cancelling headphones and listen to music. Or I do my own skincare routine downstairs. No point waiting. Let him take his time. I make chai for myself and relax. It is better than sitting there angry. You learn to manage it. Just ignore the shower sound and focus on yourself. Works for me most days.

Quote from cloudfen on May 4, 2025, 5:28 amMine too. Sitting back to back meetings kharab kar diya knee. Doctor bola office chair support nahi hota mai. Main ab lunch break mein thoda walk karta hoon kitchen tak. Cold pack bhi rakhta hoon raat ko. Par sach kahu toh bas time ke saath sahi hoga shayad. Tu bhi rest le, zyada stress mat le.

Quote from Hollowguard on March 31, 2026, 4:46 pmHonestly yeah. After kids and coding all day, my battery is dead before I even shower. I just want five mins without checking Slack. My partner gets it now, we stick to cuddling or quickies when energy allows. No pressure, no date nights planning stress. Just existing together. If ur forcing it, it gets worse. Take the pressure off.

Quote from Mudprospect on May 28, 2025, 5:25 pmBabe take the nap. Seriously. My husband wants round two daily and I’m over it. I just tell him I’m dead to the world. We compromise on weekends. Rest is sacred at my age. If he’s mad he can sleep on the couch. Your energy is limited so spend it on yourself. Don’t feel guilty.

Quote from Hopethicket on January 7, 2026, 2:30 amgirl same. i just take those little plastic containers from the pharmacy and throw them in my purse. dont overthink it. some days i leave three pills on the kitchen counter for later. if you forget one dose whatevs. life goes on. my doc told me it more important i keep taking them regularly than track every single one perfectly. less stress is better for you honestly.

Quote from Brooksnow on January 24, 2026, 2:15 amomg yes i literally felt like i was dying after leg day. Omg, couldn’t even walk down the stairs without crying. just drank a ton of water and ate chicken and rice yesterday. the soreness is brutal but honestly it’s better than feeling weak. my quads feel like jelly right now. just resting today and doing gentle stretching. hope you feel better soon. seriously don’t know how some people bounce back so fast.

Quote from brightstar1996 on June 23, 2026, 6:02 pmsame here. my bhaiya used to shout from office all day. i just wear earphones and say mind bolna. after 10 years he realized i am not ignoring him but just tired. now he keeps his voice low when i am home. it took time but patience works. dont fight with him daily. just stay quiet and do my kaam. slowly he will understand.

Quote from Warm1964 on March 18, 2026, 12:52 amOh honey it is real. I got diagnosed at 52 and my husband thought I was just getting old. Lord knows I ain't. I take my meds, stretch in the morning, and rest when my body screams. It’s a drag but you’re not crazy. Keep going sister.
