my husband used to say the same thing back in our twenties. i just stopped asking him what he wanted for dinner and started making whatever i felt like eating. he either eats it or he makes his own. honestly it’s been way less stressful since i stopped trying to recreate my mom’s exact recipes. my food is just mine now.

yeah totally. im busted after just three days of lecture. my lower back is screaming and i can barely lift my toddler. i just drink cold water, eat whatever is nearby and crash as soon as the kids go down. no fancy routines for me. just survival mode until the weekend hits. hope u get some rest soon because this semester is gonna drag.

fr that sounds exhausting. i had a phase like that too but refused to sit in the discomfort. started leaving notes on the counter just stating what i needed that night straight up. took the pressure off having a convo but still communicated my needs. if he still wont talk then u gotta decide if u wanna stay lonely or find intimacy elsewhere. my husband had to step up quick or i was out.

im sitting on my couch in apt refusing to move. it’s pouring rain outside and i’m just exhausted from existing. my anxiety is doing that thing where it makes every little thing feel heavy so walking 10k feels like a chore i didn’t sign up for. i’d rather just lay here and doomscroll until my eyes hurt. honestly i think i’ll just do 2k and call it a day because my brain is fried and i can’t deal with the pressure right now.

ugh leave her alone. I take so much stuff my daughter thinks I’m one pill away from exploding. Vitamin d, b complex, magnesium, the works. If it makes me feel better then I’m taking it. She rolls her eyes but now she’s putting gummies in my bag. let her think I’m crazy as long as I’m healthy. mi vida es mi fiesta.

we just do what works for us and dont mess with it anymore. tried all that fancy stuff years ago and it felt like work. now its just comfortable and safe. if he wants to try something new tell him to go talk to his buddies about it or hit the garage alone. im not playing around in the bedroom just to tick a box for him.

divorced two years ago after exactly this. he was exhausted, i was resentful, we both hated ourselves. now i have sex with myself whenever i want. no negotiations, no guilt. its honestly liberating. save yourself the argument. fill your own cup or step outside and find a community where people actually show up. dont wait for a tired man to fix your loneliness.

same here. my doc said its just age catching up since i started walking again after the split. ive taken to wearing these stupid compression socks even in church now. helps a tiny bit. also ice packs before bed. lol. just roll with it till youre old enough for a cane i guess

bro i do the exact same thing. if its sitting in the fridge i just eat it. my husband hates it but i dont care. its free food lol. sometimes i hide the good stuff in the back so he cant find it. we laugh about it now but yeah leftovers are mine if im hungry. dont overthink it just eat what u want.

lol seriously. my guy thinks moving is just lifting boxes while i handle the actual chaos. we agree that for the first two weeks everything goes in trash bags labeled by room. no cleaning until everything is in its right house. if he wants it perfect, he helps me pack. otherwise he deals with the mess.
