so tired of being told to just breathe, my body feels wrecked
Quote from stonerecital on July 26, 2019, 7:37 pmI am so exhausted. My body just feels wrecked after another long week. Yesterday I was at Walmart buying school supplies because the teacher sent home a list on Tuesday. I spent forty five minutes looking for the right pencils and my back was killing me. I came home and cooked chicken stir fry because it was cheap and fast. My daughter asked why I was so quiet and I just told her mom is tired. People keep telling me to just breathe or take a walk. It does not help when my joints ache from standing all day at the craft store. I paid eight dollars for glue sticks and now I cannot sleep well. I feel like my bones are heavy. How do you deal with chronic pain while trying to keep up with daily chores?

Quote from Wild1989 on January 12, 2019, 3:44 amYeah honestly happens more than u think. Im tired all the time from work and school so sometimes i just pass out. Not gonna lie it feels weird at first but my partner doesnt mind. Just make sure he knows u rnt tryna be rude tho. Maybe try switching it up for an night or just tell him ur exhausted. No big deal really happens to everyone

Quote from Peachy on January 15, 2020, 9:39 pmim literally the same. i had my third cup yesterday around 3pm because i refused to take a nap during my work break. now im staring at my phone at 11pm. im a runner so i tell myself caffeine helps my workouts but honestly its just bad habits. do u drink it after that time often or was this just today?

Quote from WildWind on August 14, 2020, 8:56 pmmy joints hurt so bad i cant even sleep straight anymore. divorce wrecked my cortisol levels i guess. i just ice my knees and take ibuprofen. doctors keep telling me its stress but i feel like my bones are breaking. i just want to lay still without pain for like an hour. its exhausting being a functional human again.

Quote from warmgarden1980 on November 15, 2021, 7:36 amI get it. At 47, i assumed sleep was free but it really ain’t. I cut coffee after 10am and started taking magnesium before bed. Also checking my iron levels. Sometimes it’s just bad habits. Try going to bed 30 mins earlier and no phone in bed. Just straight sleep.

Quote from Helen1977 on November 4, 2021, 6:51 pmomg same. i swear my ghost leggings are just trying to ruin my self image. i buy new pairs thinking theyll be flattering but they just make me look like a sausage casing. its wild how much money i waste on workout gear that makes me feel fat. idk why i keep doing this to myself. maybe ill just switch back to sweatpants and save some money instead of stressing over yoga pants that judge me.

Quote from Bold1971 on June 28, 2021, 5:45 pmhey there. i get it. honestly i just let it happen. stopped trying to hold onto the old version of myself. days are long out here in the woods so i just put on boots and walk it off. doesnt fix everything but helps me sleep. dont overthink it. just breathe and keep moving. youll figure it out like everyone else does. tough but true.

Quote from gloria1990 on June 24, 2021, 7:48 pmHonestly just tell him to stop. Omg, Ive been with my husband for eight years and we move constantly so i dont have time for drama. If he cant leave his ex in the past then hes not ready. I wouldnt even listen anymore if he brought it up twice. Just shut it down firmly. You deserve better than that baggage.
