three years is forever honestly. i’ve been off apps for two years now. my tribe taught me patience is good but not sitting around waiting for magic. i go to classes and meet people through friends. if he can’t commit in that time he’s just using the app for ego. stop waiting. keep living your life.

i relate. i used to think i was lazy until i realized i was just burnt out from people pleasing. now i say no to extra work and stop cooking when i dont have the energy. take a nap buy takeout it is not a moral failing. you are human

i stopped watching the sugar content in my water. Lol, honestly at this point i just drink tap water with lemon or plain seltzer. i am doing statins anyway so my diet is whatever doesnt make me late for work. dont stress it. the cholesterol meds are cheap and effective. just take them and move on with your day.

honestly same. lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.

yeah it’s definitely worse. i’m 29 and the dating apps feel like a part time job i hate. half the guys here in chicago are either looking for a hookup or still acting like they’re in college. the other half are married but won’t admit it. i’m tired of explaining that having a career and boundaries doesn’t mean i’m high maintenance. honestly i’d rather just stay in and order pad thai. the ratio of decent men to available women feels completely off right now and i’m over pretending otherwise.

we just do what works for us and dont mess with it anymore. tried all that fancy stuff years ago and it felt like work. now its just comfortable and safe. if he wants to try something new tell him to go talk to his buddies about it or hit the garage alone. im not playing around in the bedroom just to tick a box for him.

Honestly that’s just rude. Lol, My husband says the same sometimes bc my mom was a different era. I just tell him to stop comparing. I cook what tastes good to me now. Sometimes it’s simpler. If he doesn’t like it he can make it himself. Seriously don’t let it get to you.

nah its supposed to feel like work lol. im 38 and i hate cardio so every step on the treadmill is a struggle. i just go because my doctor said i need to keep my blood pressure down. its not fun but its necessary. i treat it like my daily chores, just gotta get it done so i can sit around later without feeling guilty.

i literally nod off in my car for ten mins before going home. Omg, just sit there and breathe. its the only quiet i get. dont try to be a hero after those meetings. they drain u. so just chill. drink some water. maybe soak your feet if u can. keep it simple. no fancy routines needed. just rest.

same here. my doc said its just age catching up since i started walking again after the split. ive taken to wearing these stupid compression socks even in church now. helps a tiny bit. also ice packs before bed. lol. just roll with it till youre old enough for a cane i guess
