sex life gone dead?? feeling like a parrot
Quote from budpledge on July 27, 2024, 8:48 amhonestly same vibe. my man keeps pushing stuff i just do not have energy for anymore. i told him straight up that i am tapped out. sometimes you just gotta say no to the new thing and protect your peace. i spent last weekend just sitting by the river refreshing myself. if you do not want it, do not do it. boundaries save marriages. he needs to accept where you are at right now.

Quote from midnightmoon1976 on February 13, 2024, 4:21 pmnah i would just tell her straight up. tell her its not our culture or tradition here. we don't do that kind of stuff in the house. its confusing for my kids too. just say no politely but firmly. dont let her push it. keep the space yours. if she keeps it up ask her to do it at her place or temple. boundary setting is key fam.

Quote from Amber1980 on December 20, 2024, 4:44 amomg yes i literally felt like i was dying after leg day. couldn’t even walk down the stairs without crying. just drank a ton of water and ate chicken and rice yesterday. the soreness is brutal but honestly it’s better than feeling weak. my quads feel like jelly right now. just resting today and doing gentle stretching. hope you feel better soon. seriously don’t know how some people bounce back so fast.

Quote from Fernravine on May 8, 2024, 9:52 pmugh yes. i got divorced last year and started running to process stuff. after my first 5k i literally sat on the curb gasping like i was having a heart attack. thought i was gonna drop dead. took me weeks to build up stamina im not gonna lie. just drink water and give it time.

Quote from Ivorypaw on September 19, 2024, 3:55 amoh man yeah it’s super normal but also super annoying. i usually just use ice packs on my quads and drink like a gallon of water. took me a while to figure out i just needed better shoes bc my arches are trash. now i stretch before bed or i cant sleep at all. honestly just give it a day or two to rest unless it feels like an actual injury.

Quote from hoarrout on May 6, 2024, 12:39 pmnah that sounds like he just wants to talk down to u. in my culture we respect elders but partners should talk equal. if he calls u sensitive for asking him to change his tone, he’s dodging accountability. i’d just leave the room when he starts like that. dont let him gaslight u into thinking ur valid feelings are wrong. ur not crazy for wanting basic respect from a partner.

Quote from Carol1984 on April 25, 2024, 5:32 amArey oye, change those socks daily beta! In India we say if you dont wash gym clothes separately, bacteria stays. Also maybe he needs better deodorant or shower more. Dont just complain, tell him directly to sort his hygiene. If he smells bad after one day, it is his problem not yours. Make him take responsibility for his own cleanliness. Simple as that.

Quote from Rebecca2003 on September 15, 2024, 12:35 amfr that’s wild. Omg, my man used to give me the silent treatment too after we argued. i stopped asking and just started focusing on myself. went to the gym, called my girls. sometimes u gotta show u dont need em to survive. if he keeps ignoring u like that, honestly evaluate the relationship. u deserve better than being treated like furniture.

Quote from Sam1974 on December 17, 2024, 11:40 pmTotally feel this. I work in IT so I spend all day glued to screens anyway. Gym is just another isolating activity for me. I go to my local place near the office, grab a squat rack, listen to a podcast while lifting, then leave. No eye contact, no small talk. It’s efficient but yeah, super lonely. I usually just text my hype girl before and after. We don’t even workout together, just vent about heavy sets.

Quote from linenwold on July 27, 2024, 7:51 amyeah totally. i stop at 15 mins bc i feel like death after that. used to run easy then figured out my heart is just different now post, divorce and stress. don't push it too hard. if you’re exhausted that fast maybe your form is off or you’re going too fast for your current level. i just walk fast now and it’s enough.
