Quote from Andrea1969 on January 2, 2025, 10:07 amim sitting on my couch in apt refusing to move. it’s pouring rain outside and i’m just exhausted from existing. my anxiety is doing that thing where it makes every little thing feel heavy so walking 10k feels like a chore i didn’t sign up for. i’d rather just lay here and doomscroll until my eyes hurt. honestly i think i’ll just do 2k and call it a day because my brain is fried and i can’t deal with the pressure right now.

Quote from Chloe1974 on June 14, 2026, 11:59 pmI get it. My husband was pushing hard too. I stopped overthinking the performance part and just told him we need low pressure. We switched to just touching without expecting penetration. Took the edge off for both of us. Now we actually want to be closer. Don’t force it if your body says no. Communication works better than ghosting through it. Just be honest.

Quote from Pearlfen on October 19, 2025, 10:50 amHonestly not weird at all. We moved three times in two years so our bedroom setups have been half packed in boxes for months. Husband thinks I’m rejecting him, but I’m just exhausted. Most intimacy now is him falling asleep on the couch while I fold laundry. If I’m lucky we try for 10 minutes but usually it’s a nope from me. Just survive, don’t expect much until the kids actually leave the house.

Quote from vinebronze on March 12, 2026, 11:37 amhonestly yeah its normal. For real, my husband does this all the time. he just needs space to recharge without talking. i figured it out early so now i just let him be. go do my own thing while he sits in his cave. once he comes out he talks again. dont take it personal. its just how he processes stuff. works for us.

Quote from snowsand on August 12, 2026, 11:12 ami just blocked him and deleted the app. honestly it felt like a relief. i spent three years trying to fix things that werent broken on my end and now im just focusing on myself. no more late night scrolling or wondering if he’s talking to someone else. peace of mind is worth more than any potential match.

Quote from Reddew on November 18, 2025, 10:01 pmmy husband smells like old socks and gym bags even after a quick rinse. i just put on earplugs and read until he falls asleep. it is genuinely the worst part of the day. we have talked about it but he says he is too tired. honestly i just avoid touching him until morning.

Quote from Warmgarden1989 on January 28, 2025, 9:10 amnah not weird at all i work two jobs up here in the hills and by the time i get home i just want to sit on the porch and stare at the mountains. For real, my husband gets it too we are basically roommates sometimes and thats fine. dont let anyone make you feel guilty for being tired. rest is important.

Quote from Mistseal on August 28, 2026, 6:52 pmHusband thinks I’m crazy for needing quiet too. I leave the house every Saturday morning. Go to the library or just sit in my car. He complains but I don’t care. If I don’t get that hour to myself I snap. My peace isn’t negotiable. You do you. Don’t let him guilt trip you into losing your mind.

Quote from Rainbowchild1975 on March 1, 2026, 7:01 pmstress drains the spirit first then the body feels it. I swear, i get that emptiness often. lately i just sit outside for 10 mins every morning no phone just watching birds or leaves move. helps reset my nervous system. also drinking more water and walking without headphones. sometimes we overthink when we just need to move or breathe. try stepping away from screens for an hour.
