Quote from Bookworm1990 on December 11, 2023, 11:13 amHonest truth is most of us are faking it. I used to think sleep fixed everything until I got my iron and vitamin D levels checked. Turns out I was just running on empty. Eight hours of sleep doesnt help if your body is fighting a deficiency. Go see a doctor and ask for blood work before buying another fancy pillow.

Quote from Crimsonmill on October 16, 2023, 3:08 pmI stop chasing them. Lol, I find a bench and sit. If they want me to watch them swing or drop and run, they gotta come get me. I’m in my forties, my knees are shot and I refuse to jog after a seven year old anymore. They learn pretty quick that mom is stationary unless they initiate. Saves my energy and tests their legs.

Quote from jadeexploit on January 9, 2023, 9:25 pmomg same. i’ve been sitting at my desk all day and my feet look like puffy marshmallows. i keep taking off my shoes under the table at work. honestly i think its just the chicago heat or maybe i’m dehydrated. i started drinking like 4 gallons of water a day k ik its a lot but it helped a little. just chilling with em off tonight.

Quote from coffeelover1986 on November 12, 2023, 7:01 amsame here. i hate how hot and stuffy my living room gets when i run. now i just walk outside by the school track. its quiet early in the morning and the fresh air helps. if i do run inside i turn the fan on max and eat a banana right after. dont try to push through nausea. just stop and drink water.

Quote from Wiseowl1987 on May 11, 2023, 12:27 pmsame. just bought a meditation app at 11pm and now i am staring at the ceiling waiting for enlightenment. it is not working. the couch feels like it glued itself to me. i tried shifting my legs but the friction coefficient is too high. probably will just nap for 20 mins and ruin my circadian rhythm again. send coffee. or dont. i am too tired to decide.

Quote from Frances1969 on July 3, 2023, 6:16 amfr that sounds exhausting. i had a phase like that too but refused to sit in the discomfort. started leaving notes on the counter just stating what i needed that night straight up. took the pressure off having a convo but still communicated my needs. if he still wont talk then u gotta decide if u wanna stay lonely or find intimacy elsewhere. my husband had to step up quick or i was out.

Quote from Michelle1968 on April 9, 2023, 11:54 pmsame here and its exhausting. i usually just do foam rolling and strength training 2x a week to balance the pounding. also way more protein post run or i crash hard. hydration matters too bc im always dehydrated. just listen to your body and take rest days. dont push through the pain. im in my 30s so recovery takes longer now than in college. hope you feel better soon.

Quote from Lagoon on January 27, 2023, 3:06 pmok so this happens to me too ngl. i figured out its the fabric softener causing it honestly. that stuff coats the fibers and traps bacteria basically. just stop using dryer sheets or liquid softener on activewear. instead throw a cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle. smells like nothing once dry but kills the funk. also dont let wet clothes sit in the hamper for days that makes it worse trust me.
