nah im just doing squats at the office gym before meetings. glute activation seems like extra work for small gains. i dont really feel it anyway. just stick to basic compound lifts and eat enough protein. the trend is just people selling bands and courses. i rather focus on my back pain from coding all day. simpler is better for me tbh.

it is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Same situation here man. Omg, My husband acts like the kids are not his. I am exhausted holding everything down while he just sits there. My mom and sisters literally had to step in to help with the little ones otherwise I would have collapsed. It drives me crazy that I have to do everything. Just venting cause I have no energy left for this nonsense. Need a break badly.

same here lol. Tbh, every sunday my moms house turns into a hostel. aunts uncles cousins all just showing up. i literally just make huge pots of rice and chicken curry and put it on the counter. they help themselves. i dont invite anyone anymore just stop trying to be a good host. survive mode only at this point haha

honestly i think it’s just stress from moving every two years. my cortisol is probably through the roof. i tried cutting carbs like everyone says but it just made me crazy. now i just eat yogurt and fruit after PT bc its easier when you’re tired. also never skip breakfast. my body would literally shut down if i waited too long to eat. weird right but it works for me

Yeah honey I been there. My knees dont stop hurting and I catch myself staring at the neighbors house wondering who is inside. So I started walking the track at my church twice a day. Just walking yall. No talking. It helps clear my head. Also tried those little pickle snacks at the drugstore weirdly they hit the spot. Be kind to yourself mama.

my husband used to say the same thing back in our twenties. i just stopped asking him what he wanted for dinner and started making whatever i felt like eating. he either eats it or he makes his own. honestly it’s been way less stressful since i stopped trying to recreate my mom’s exact recipes. my food is just mine now.

honestly yeah its normal. my husband does this all the time. he just needs space to recharge without talking. i figured it out early so now i just let him be. go do my own thing while he sits in his cave. once he comes out he talks again. dont take it personal. its just how he processes stuff. works for us.

nah i would just tell her straight up. tell her its not our culture or tradition here. we don't do that kind of stuff in the house. its confusing for my kids too. just say no politely but firmly. dont let her push it. keep the space yours. if she keeps it up ask her to do it at her place or temple. boundary setting is key fam.

same here honestly. i keep blaming it on getting older but my pms has been straight up weird lately. bloated as hell and tired af even after sleeping. i finally went to the doc and got my thyroid checked too. turns out my levels were kinda off. might wanna just get checked out tho bc hormones can be wild at this age. dont just assume its aging.
