honestly the empty feeling hits different when ur burnt out. i just stop overthinking it n cry until i feel numb then sleep. stress literally drains u dry so u feel hollow. i dont try to fix it, just let it wash over me. u not alone in feeling this way. take it easy on urself girl.

it is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

honestly its just me and definitely not just you. Honestly, im mixed race and living in chicago with zero patience for dating games so my sex life is basically non existent right now. im too anxious to even text men back consistently let alone plan dates. just scrolling tiktok and overthinking every interaction instead of actually doing anything. my libido is low bc my brain is in fight or flight mode all the time.

Girl same. I look at him and my brain just goes offline. I say baby not tonight I can barely lift my head off the pillow. He actually started getting the hint after I threatened to move to the guest room every night. Now we do like twice a week and I feel like a better person about it. Rest is priority rn.

I just started throwing mine out. Waste is cheaper than the headache. If he wants lunch he can make it. I used to nag about it too but honestly I’m done fighting over food scraps. My sanity is worth more than a decent container of pasta. Just live with it or toss it.

honestly same. ive stopped trying to meditate every morning and guilt myself for missing days. now i just do what feels doable. sometimes its five minutes of breathing, other times its napping. im done performing spirituality. i teach second grade so i deal with chaos all day, im not adding mental load. just be kind to yourself.

god yes. i did pilates last thursday and basically crawled out of bed this morning. like my hamstrings are literally screaming at me. i just soak in epsom salts and try not to move too much. it feels like someone poured cement in my legs. hate that feeling so much.

we moved 3 times last year. Lol, my husband thinks moving boxes is mans work but folding shirts is mine. i let the living room pile up. he complained once then carried the trash to curb himself. dont cook fancy food on day 1. order pizza. if house isnt perfect but kids are fed and beds are made thats win in my book. survival mode is real for immigrant moms.

yeah that happens to me too when i sit all day at the diner. Omg, mine gets stiff as a board. i just stand up and walk around the kitchen for a bit or do some simple stretches by the sink. helps a lot. drink water too cuz dehydration makes it worse. mine still hurts sometimes but moving around gets it to loosen up eventually. dont worry about it too much

man i feel this so hard. my partner is the same way. its exhausting. i literally start withdrawing if its just about finishing. i tell him straight up that if he wants cuddling just ask for it separately. its not my job to assume hes cuddly after. i need connection not just release. its so tiring to have to manage his emotions around intimacy too.
