I just go. Half hour, straight to the treadmill, listen to a boring podcast, leave. No fancy routines, no intensity checks. If I skip, I feel sluggish and guilty all day. Going makes the rest of the week feel slightly less chaotic. Not doing it because Im squeezed often, but even 20 mins helps reset my brain. Work stays anyway, but the sweat helps.

bhaiyaa this is normal. lifting kids is heavy work. i use this yoga strap around my waist when carrying them, helps support back. after that i lie down with hot water bag on lower back for 15 mins. also dont lift from knees, bend properly. my doctor said it is because of weak core, so i started simple exercises. rest is important. take care beta.

lol so true. i code all day then drag my body to lift heavy things. my back is always stiff but i refuse to stop. my husband thinks im crazy but gym keeps my mind clear. sometimes i just go to hit the treadmill and listen to arabic music loud. dont care if it feels rigged. i need the sweat to feel human. we overthink too much as tech workers. just move your body. simple.

Honey pull up a chair and listen close. I packed my good china and moved to the guest room. He can have his space. I used that time to read my bible and drink iced tea on the porch. If he wants me back he better come ask for it with a clean heart. I ain't waiting around all night anymore.

I quit last year. Joined in Jan, went 3 times. Gifted my card to my mom who also doesn't go. Now I just walk the dog aggressively around the block. My calves aren't toned but my bank account is thicker. If you're paying monthly just to sweat guilt, stop. The money feels better than leg day ever did.

i relate. i used to think i was lazy until i realized i was just burnt out from people pleasing. now i say no to extra work and stop cooking when i dont have the energy. take a nap buy takeout it is not a moral failing. you are human

Omg I feel you. Honest truth, it’s not the fabric, it’s your dryer. I stopped putting that basket in the dryer long ago. That lint trap holds onto moisture and bacteria like crazy. Now I just leave mine out to air dry or throw in a tennis ball to circulate air. Also make sure you’re using enough detergent, gym clothes get super sweaty. Mira si te ayuda.

i tell him if he wants it done his way he do it himself. we sit down and split chores right down the middle. no thank yous just duty. if i cook he cleans. if i fold he loads laundry. stop treating him like a guest. he lives here too. my tribal ways teach balance so i enforce it. if he complains i let him complain while i relax. his loss.

Honestly yeah. After kids and coding all day, my battery is dead before I even shower. I just want five mins without checking Slack. My partner gets it now, we stick to cuddling or quickies when energy allows. No pressure, no date nights planning stress. Just existing together. If ur forcing it, it gets worse. Take the pressure off.

sister same here. my body feels heavy like lead but rent dont wait. i take paracetamol and keep typing with shaking hands. dont tell boss, just push through. if u faint who will pay bills? drink ginger tea if u can find time. we survive not because we strong but because we have no choice. take one day off max then back to grind.
