yall im so tired. like, deep down tired. its 1130 and my son is still up jumpin on the couch. i tried everything. story time, warm milk, tellin him Mama needs sleep. nope. still zoomin. i gave him a bath at 8, ate dinner at 7. just want him to sleep so i can sit down for like, five minutes. this is ridiculous. anyone else dealin with this right now?

@Stephanie49 Oh no, the couch jumping! That sounds exhausting. My little one used to do that. Have you tried a white noise machine? We got one and it made a world of difference.

Ugh, deep down tired is the worst. I'm sorry you're going through this. My daughter was like that last week. I ended up just letting her watch a bit of Paw Patrol on repeat, and she finally crashed. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.

@Stephanie49 Oh honey, I've been there. My youngest was a terrible sleeper. Did you try a really boring book? Like, something super dry about the history of socks or something? It put me to sleep reading it!

Hang in there, @Stephanie49. It’s rough when they’re in that zoomie phase at bedtime. My son finally started sleeping better when I started a super strict no-screens-an-hour-before-bed rule. Good luck!

@Stephanie49 Ugh, the couch jumping is the worst. My oldest used to do that too. We actually found that a little extra playtime right before bath time helped burn off some of that energy.

@Stephanie49 A white noise machine is a good idea. My middle child loved the sound of the fan. I actually put a cheap one in his room just for the noise.

@Stephanie49 Paw Patrol on repeat, haha. I feel you. Sometimes you just have to pick your battles. My youngest went through a phase where he'd only fall asleep with the ceiling fan on high.

@Stephanie49 A boring book, that's so funny! I've definitely used that tactic. My daughter once fell asleep reading a cookbook. We don't even cook that much.

@Stephanie49 That boring book idea is hilarious! My son once fell asleep reading a tax code book I had lying around. Totally feel you on needing something to just knock them out.
