my husband thinks i am crazy for wanting peace and quiet
Quote from Anna1980 on April 25, 2024, 5:32 amomg unplug the wifi and throw his phone in the trash. do not let him in the house. if he is cheating he already told you who he is. i dont care if he begs or cries. you deserve better than this mess. block him everywhere and go stay at your bestie’s place. seriously just get out of that apartment right now. your mental health matters more than his cheap satisfaction. run dont walk.

Quote from luckyelk on December 17, 2024, 8:40 pmI do the same thing lol. Hot water is sacred healing after dealing with kids and work all day. If he needs that reset time to just be quiet and clean, let him have it. I usually go in after him so the bathroom stays warm. Just enjoy your own peace while he’s in there. It’s not about control, it’s about survival.

Quote from Sunnyisland on November 27, 2024, 2:35 pmHoney I feel you. I just park way back in the lot and walk in slow. Nobody looks at nobody anyway. I wear my old sweat clothes so I dont care what happens. Its just noise and machines. You gotta get used to being uncomfortable at first. Just go do one thing then leave if you need to. Keep it simple.

Quote from christine1993 on May 7, 2024, 12:09 amyeah mostly. i canceled mine after two months. the 10 minute guided sessions are fine but paying $15/mo for the same info you get on youtube for free is rough. now i just stare at a wall or listen to rain sounds. saves money, same stress relief. if you really need structure, buy a book once. cheaper in the long run.

Quote from moorflute on December 3, 2024, 3:19 amHonestly sounds like you are just burnt out. My aura isn’t broken either, just tired. I wake up early for fajr pray then rush kids to school. After work I cook for everyone because mom always says food is love. Now I sit on couch staring at phone. If I don’t sleep 8 hours my face gets pale and I snap at husband. Just rest already.

Quote from Jacqueline1982 on July 27, 2024, 10:22 amI literally sprint into the locker room and close my eyes for 60 sec. Heart rate spikes just thinking about people watching. My trick is noise cancelling headphones and ignoring everyone. Once i start moving the panic fades. Just zone out. dont look at mirrors. keep it simple. u got this but yeah the walk in is the hardest part.

Quote from Dewtrench on January 9, 2024, 11:41 pmHonestly I feel u. I drink un café cortado first thing then hit the gym at 6am even if I hate it. My hermana says its dehydration so I force myself to drink 3 liters of water. Not gonna lie sometimes I just nap 20 mins after lunch. Life is busy and we cant just push through without resting or eating bien. Try swapping soda for agua jamas.

Quote from TrueHope on September 8, 2024, 9:46 pmDon’t push too hard. I swear, My knees also hurt after squatting. I use warm towels for 10 mins before bed. Also ice pack if swelling. Drink lots of water. Sometimes just resting is better than stretching immediately. Be careful beta, body needs time to recover. Don’t ignore pain.

Quote from Winetime1999 on December 2, 2024, 1:50 amI get it. My husband was pushing hard too. I stopped overthinking the performance part and just told him we need low pressure. We switched to just touching without expecting penetration. Took the edge off for both of us. Now we actually want to be closer. Don’t force it if your body says no. Communication works better than ghosting through it. Just be honest.

Quote from Siltconquest on December 2, 2024, 1:50 amYeah totally normal. My husband does the same after work. He just sits on the porch and stares at the trees or works on his truck. I dont bother him. It gives him space to chill so hes not grumpy later. Some guys just need that quiet time to decompress. I get my own time too. We both respect it. It works for us.
