Hi everyone. My daughter came over last Tuesday to stay with her little boy. He is four and keeps climbing on the kitchen counter. I was making my morning tea at six thirty because my back hurt from gardening yesterday. She saw my vitamins on the table. She said I do not need that much stuff. She said the doctor never prescribed them and they cost too much. I buy the big bottles at Walmart because they are cheaper. I take one calcium and one multivitamin. I feel tired all day if I skip them. She rolled her eyes and said I am wasting money on pills that do nothing. It made me feel like a fool. I just want to have energy for my granddaughter. Does anyone else get talked down to by their kids about health habits?

hmm i mean my bf is the same. we just sit in diff rooms scrolling phones but he sends me memes or texts u up. feels like enough for him. i get anxious tho bc i want more verbal stuff. dont think ur crazy though. maybe he just feels connected without talking. u could ask him directly if that works for him. im still figuring it out myself lol.

Girl no that ain't normal. My knees click like crazy after sitting in that pew for two hours on Sunday but it settles down quick. If it hurts this bad after just a few hours something is wrong. I iced mine last night and took a baby aspirin. Hope you feel better soon darlin. Take care of yourself honey.

same here honestly. i keep blaming it on getting older but my pms has been straight up weird lately. bloated as hell and tired af even after sleeping. i finally went to the doc and got my thyroid checked too. turns out my levels were kinda off. might wanna just get checked out tho bc hormones can be wild at this age. dont just assume its aging.

omg i relate so hard. my ex did the same thig constantly. i would just make a mental note of every time he said one thing but did another. eventually the pattern became impossible to ignore. if his actions dont match his words then trust the actions. u deserve someone who just shows up consistently without u having to ask or play detective. its exhausting n u rnt alone.

ugh same. i just walk on the treadmill while catching up on podcasts. no heavy lifting for me right now. honestly the gym mirrors are still kinda triggering so i wear a hoodie and keep my head down. low expectations keep me sane. just showing up wins for me these days. its not about burning calories its about claiming that hour for myself.

yeah totally. you never really relax when you know your lease is up in six months. i got tired of the drama so i stayed put for three years. finally got into a routine and a bf showed up. moving every other year just feels like you are on probation somewhere. hard to invite anyone over when you are half packed

Oye girl same here omg. After those 3 hours meetings my knees feel like jelly seriously. I swear its the chair or just sitting too long. I literally stand up every 20 mins to stretch if I can. If not I just ice them later at home. Painkillers dont even help sometimes. Its super annoying but yeah normal for us. Take care of your self!

I pulled the plug on that nonsense years ago. Omg, If he says i am too sensitive while tossing out garbage, he gets told to take a hike. No explaining, no crying, just leaving the room. My peace is worth more than his ego. I dont waste breath arguing with someone who refuses to see reality. Y’all deserve better than walking on eggshells.

same here and its exhausting. i usually just do foam rolling and strength training 2x a week to balance the pounding. also way more protein post run or i crash hard. hydration matters too bc im always dehydrated. just listen to your body and take rest days. dont push through the pain. im in my 30s so recovery takes longer now than in college. hope you feel better soon.
