my bf said i’m too sensitive about the way he talks to me
Quote from ashley1974 on January 23, 2021, 6:17 pmUgh that sucks. My ex used to do the same thing. I just stopped engaging. If he says something wild I’d either walk away or say whatever’s on my mind directly. No more tiptoeing. It’s exhausting trying to manage his ego. Honestly if he can’t respect your feelings he’s not worth the stress. Sorry u’re dealing with it.

Quote from Leafneedle on April 17, 2021, 11:01 amomg why would he do that?? like seriously?? i would literally kick him out of the bed lol. here we do lo mismo, shower mandatory after work or gym. otherwise im not sharing my sheets with sweaty random man. seriously consider sleeping in the couch until he learns basic hygiene. no thanks to the funk.

Quote from Susan1985 on January 16, 2021, 2:40 amSame here. My husband also takes forever. I just put on noise cancelling headphones and listen to music. Or I do my own skincare routine downstairs. No point waiting. Let him take his time. I make chai for myself and relax. It is better than sitting there angry. You learn to manage it. Just ignore the shower sound and focus on yourself. Works for me most days.

Quote from Soccermom1983 on November 8, 2021, 11:59 amnah i dont wait for him. Ngl, i just do my half fast then relax. if he complains i tell him to do it himself or shut up. we made a schedule so i know when hes supposed to clean. if he doesnt do it i just leave the mess for him to deal with. stops whining when he has to mop his own floors. dont overthink it just set boundaries.

Quote from Trueseaside1965 on May 21, 2021, 10:44 pmi sleep 7 hours and still feel like a zombie. my doctor says i’m fine but my energy is shot. i just drink black coffee and survive on sheer willpower until 3pm. then i crash hard. maybe it’s just age or burnout. i stopped trying to fix it and just accepted my low battery mode. dinner is usually takeout because cooking requires too much effort.

Quote from Pearlthrob on November 19, 2021, 1:04 amoh man that sounds awful. i get terrible plantar fasciitis every winter. honestly just rolling a frozen water bottle under my arch for like 10 mins in the morning helps so much. also wear compression socks all day long. i used to ignore it till i couldn't walk straight too. just keep resting your feet when you can. hope you feel better soon

Quote from Pam2001 on March 23, 2022, 7:49 amugh same here. i literally could not move after sitting through hours of teachers explaining why my son needs more support. my brain is completely fried and my spirit is low. im just gonna sit on the couch tonight in sweatpants and eat takeout. no cooking, no cleaning, just pure silence. if u need to vent about the exhaustion hit reply. we deserve a break after all that mental load.

Quote from Soulbrand on September 24, 2022, 5:16 amGirl same. My doc said early perimenopause and i felt like dying. The hot flashes are wild and the brain fog is real. I just started taking vitamin d and magnesium plus trying to sleep more. It helps a little but its still rough. Yount alone tho. Just take it one day at a time.

Quote from Amy1977 on June 1, 2022, 10:12 ami feel that. moving every few years makes it hard to stick with a routine or find good spots. ive been lifting heavy and just focusing on strength instead of the scale number. the scale goes up bc muscle weighs more but i look leaner and feel stronger. honestly ignoring the number is the only thing that helps me not hate the gym. just keep showing up.
