Same situation here man. My husband acts like the kids are not his. I am exhausted holding everything down while he just sits there. My mom and sisters literally had to step in to help with the little ones otherwise I would have collapsed. It drives me crazy that I have to do everything. Just venting cause I have no energy left for this nonsense. Need a break badly.

i literally just stopped asking him to do anything. Tbh, if i need something done i do it myself or hire a babysitter for an hour. my sanity is worth more than his participation. dont wait around for him to step up he wont. lower your expectations to zero and stop explaining what you need. it just saves everyone the drama.

same here. i hate how hot and stuffy my living room gets when i run. now i just walk outside by the school track. its quiet early in the morning and the fresh air helps. if i do run inside i turn the fan on max and eat a banana right after. dont try to push through nausea. just stop and drink water.

honestly that is wild. i dont smell anything different but my guy says i smell like vanilla when Im pregnant. weird how bodies change. i just take extra showers and use unscented soap to be safe. dont let him drive you crazy over something you cant control. just wash up and go about your day. its not your fault.

we just do what works for us and dont mess with it anymore. tried all that fancy stuff years ago and it felt like work. now its just comfortable and safe. if he wants to try something new tell him to go talk to his buddies about it or hit the garage alone. im not playing around in the bedroom just to tick a box for him.

same here. i stretch every nite but my hamstrings are rock. it’s wild how fast the body changes. i just accept it now and focus on keeping my back loose so i dont hurt myself. 45 feels young but the joints say otherwise. at least mine still work lol.

i tell him if he wants it done his way he do it himself. we sit down and split chores right down the middle. no thank yous just duty. if i cook he cleans. if i fold he loads laundry. stop treating him like a guest. he lives here too. my tribal ways teach balance so i enforce it. if he complains i let him complain while i relax. his loss.

Yeah it’s the divorce fatigue. I’m 46 and honestly just wrecked. Spent all day sorting through mail and thinking about alimony payments instead of actually living. My knees hurt from walking the dog and my brain feels foggy all day. Just drank iced coffee but still feel heavy. Not sure if it’s grief or just old age kicking in early.

ugh same here. i literally could not move after sitting through hours of teachers explaining why my son needs more support. my brain is completely fried and my spirit is low. im just gonna sit on the couch tonight in sweatpants and eat takeout. no cooking, no cleaning, just pure silence. if u need to vent about the exhaustion hit reply. we deserve a break after all that mental load.

Yeah I get that. My back is wrecked every night. I stop and breathe before I lift them off the ground. Keep em low. Also stretch my hamstrings before bed or I cant sleep. Just drink water and ice it later. Dont try to power through the pain or youll be out for a week.
