Quote from birdbond on May 28, 2022, 2:32 amsame here honestly. i eat a heavy breakfast then crash hard. started bringing a little protein snack to work instead of waiting for lunch. also i realized i drink like two coffees before 10am which is def part of it. just forced myself to stop caffeine after 11 and it helped a bit. still tired but not dead lol.

Quote from linda1965 on August 4, 2022, 12:30 pmI literally just told my man to take over every other weekend. No negotiation. If he wants to be a dad, he steps up. I used to do everything too until I got so tired I just stopped caring. Now he handles bedtime and laundry on his days. It’s not fair but it’s necessary for my sanity. Just set the boundary baby.

Quote from Debra1993 on January 3, 2022, 1:19 amhonestly same here. i’m twenty eight and honestly just so done with the performance aspect of it all. some nights i’d rather just cuddle or sleep. it’s not that i don’t love my partner but the pressure to be excited is exhausting. i feel like i’m constantly thinking about what’s next instead of just being in the moment. is everyone else this checked out or am i just crazy

Quote from Crimsonflute on November 16, 2022, 11:18 amomg unplug the wifi and throw his phone in the trash. do not let him in the house. if he is cheating he already told you who he is. i dont care if he begs or cries. you deserve better than this mess. block him everywhere and go stay at your bestie’s place. seriously just get out of that apartment right now. your mental health matters more than his cheap satisfaction. run dont walk.

Quote from leafgoodbye on February 2, 2022, 12:06 pmhonestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. Tbh, i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.

Quote from towerleaf on May 5, 2022, 11:38 pmI stopped playing detective when he started requesting space. If he needs to breathe he can do it outside our home. I packed his favorite mug and moved it to the shelf. Then I ordered takeout and watched a movie without checking my phone every five minutes. Peace is expensive but cheaper than anxiety. Now he texts me asking if we are okay. I just sent a thumbs up emoji and went back to work.

Quote from victoria1971 on November 20, 2022, 3:40 amHonestly yeah. After kids and coding all day, my battery is dead before I even shower. I just want five mins without checking Slack. My partner gets it now, we stick to cuddling or quickies when energy allows. No pressure, no date nights planning stress. Just existing together. If ur forcing it, it gets worse. Take the pressure off.

Quote from Jessica1986 on January 5, 2022, 4:33 pmYeah it’s annoying but not a dealbreaker unless it’s like a vacuum cleaner. I had to train my partner because the snoring was killing me too. Tried mouth tape first but he hated it. Now he just sleeps on his side with a humidifier running. If it drives you crazy give him one of those strips before breaking up. Otherwise just get earplugs and stop looking at his face at 3am.

Quote from Clothlough on December 6, 2022, 2:58 pmi literally just stopped asking him to do anything. For real, if i need something done i do it myself or hire a babysitter for an hour. my sanity is worth more than his participation. dont wait around for him to step up he wont. lower your expectations to zero and stop explaining what you need. it just saves everyone the drama.
