i just do it. Tbh, keep it simple. load the bar, bend over, pull. my ancestors were strong so im wired for this. i dont overthink the technique much, just move the weight. sometimes i fail, that’s normal. i breathe through my nose, focus on my core, and push through. it feels good when the weight moves. no fancy gear needed, just sweat and determination. keep showing up.

yeh frustration samajh sakti hoon. main bhi sochti thi kafi time tak. finally realize kiya ki protein intake bohot low tha. ab har meal mein meat ya eggs add karti hoon aur heavy lifting karungi, cardio se zyada strength training focus karti hoon. abhi 2 mahine huye hain par difference dekh rahi hoon. consistency hi key hai, chalo phir.

I quit last year. Joined in Jan, went 3 times. Gifted my card to my mom who also doesn't go. Now I just walk the dog aggressively around the block. My calves aren't toned but my bank account is thicker. If you're paying monthly just to sweat guilt, stop. The money feels better than leg day ever did.

Honey same here. I used to pay for that gym membership but honestly just sat on one machine for twenty minutes. Now I walk my dog around the neighborhood twice a day. Gets my heart rate up and Im outside. Saves my wallet too. Plus I see the neighbors which is way nicer than staring at a wall.

sister no u not lazy. Lol, i hit that wall hard last year. felt like carrying the world but had zero energy left. i stopped trying to do it all and just did the bare minimum for a while. let dishes pile up, ordered takeout, went to bed early. ur body is screaming for rest not more punishment. take the day off. truly.

honestly same. ive stopped trying to meditate every morning and guilt myself for missing days. now i just do what feels doable. sometimes its five minutes of breathing, other times its napping. im done performing spirituality. i teach second grade so i deal with chaos all day, im not adding mental load. just be kind to yourself.

omg yes. last week i just did some light squats and now walking down stairs feels like running on glass. my legs are so heavy i cant even lift them properly. im just laying in bed watching netflix and crying because i dont know if i should move or stay still. its the worst feeling ever.

yeah it is. i limit how many things i say yes to now. last week i just told a parent i cant help with their child after hours. felt so weird saying no but did it anyway. im done carrying everyone else emotional baggage while grading papers. just doing the bare minimum for anyone who isnt my immediate family these days.

I get it. At 47, i assumed sleep was free but it really ain’t. I cut coffee after 10am and started taking magnesium before bed. Also checking my iron levels. Sometimes it’s just bad habits. Try going to bed 30 mins earlier and no phone in bed. Just straight sleep.

nah just go. I swear, i always use busy work as an excuse to skip but regret it later. my family gathers every weekend so i try to squeeze in a quick session before them. keeps the stress down. even twenty minutes is better than nothing. dont overthink it. just put on your shoes and go. you will feel better after.
