Quote from Ferntale on April 20, 2024, 3:41 pmhonestly the empty feeling hits different when ur burnt out. i just stop overthinking it n cry until i feel numb then sleep. stress literally drains u dry so u feel hollow. i dont try to fix it, just let it wash over me. u not alone in feeling this way. take it easy on urself girl.

Quote from marilyn on May 14, 2024, 5:46 pmhonestly same. lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.

Quote from DawnFire on September 24, 2024, 1:52 ami used to pay for one of those apps but stopped after a year. honestly the ads were more stressful than the calm sounds. now i just sit in my garden or listen to birds from the porch. doesnt cost a dime and feels just as peaceful. maybe we just need quiet time without the fancy tech telling us how to breathe.

Quote from kayla1969 on July 8, 2024, 1:38 pmYeah totally normal. My husband does the same after work. He just sits on the porch and stares at the trees or works on his truck. I dont bother him. It gives him space to chill so hes not grumpy later. Some guys just need that quiet time to decompress. I get my own time too. We both respect it. It works for us.

Quote from Goldenheart1983 on February 22, 2024, 12:20 ami literally nod off in my car for ten mins before going home. just sit there and breathe. its the only quiet i get. dont try to be a hero after those meetings. they drain u. so just chill. drink some water. maybe soak your feet if u can. keep it simple. no fancy routines needed. just rest.

Quote from Redyarn on September 15, 2024, 12:35 amHonestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from Towerharp on January 10, 2024, 11:13 pmyeah it is normal. i did the same trail last weekend and my quads were screaming for two days after. just walk around lightly to keep things moving. ice helps if it gets really sore. dont let it stop you, next time youll be stronger. i drank like three electrolyte drinks right after and slept the whole night. pain is part of the process lol.

Quote from Creekhustle on December 3, 2024, 3:19 amomg girl same. I literally throw his clothes in the wash the second he takes them off. If they stay in the hamper for more than a few hours, forget it. The smell is unreal. I even wash his workout gear separately with extra detergent because regular stuff doesnt cut it. My bf thinks Im crazy but hey, nobody wants to date a human stench bag. Just keep that washer running, mija.

Quote from Rainbowdust on January 20, 2024, 8:23 amGlad you posted that. I sat on my porch for an hour after my last scare just drinking ice water and shaking. Youre not alone in the loss of control. Its messy and ugly. Cry it out. I keep my tissues in every room now. Just breathe through it one minute at a time. We will survive this but it hurts like hell right now.
